Hi all! I am relatively new to the fallout modding scene and new to this forum as well. I figured I would go ahead and introduce myself. I go by Corrupt on most places, and I have been playing fallout (unmodded) forever. My favorite fallout game is fallout 2, but I have been playing New Vegas atm.

On an unrelated note, anyone have experience with the Horizon or Fallout 2287 mods for Fallout 4? What did you think of them and are they worth adding to my upcoming playthrough?

@erafox Unmodded NV and F3 has a charm that nothing else can replicate. Especially NV, which is good and balanced right out of the box, so I can see why one could potentially play vanilla

F4, on the other hand, is just hot garbage without any mods

at least install headshot mod , solidproject & ENB and tell that again
shot to a person 20 times on the head to kill is worst wtf ever . glad you enjoy vanilla

@erafox That's why you don't play on very hard mode. Normal mode is the most fair, 100% damage dealt, 100% damage taken, the fact that the game is so easy is a bethesda problem, they could never balance for shit. And every fallout game becomes super easy, after a certain point, only exception would maybe be F2, if you are doing a non-lethal playthru, at the very end, or fallout tactics, if again, you aren't actually very good at fighting, as the entire game is literally just combat

Anyways, I never saw how bulletsponge enemies=difficulty, hence why I don't see a problem with ".32 revolver headshots everything after a certain level" philosophy, as it rings true in real life, too

@Sonichu_fanboy I play very hard hardcore only and use more difficult hardcore rates so you wrong. also a personal mod to remove overpowered .. perks ... im also increased the damaged recived on my own x2 and x20 in the head .. i play as soldier build ... never no lethal at moment

Hey welcome buddy, good to see new pals around here, so i have just fallout nv for my pc 'cause my rig can get hold of Fallout 4 i think i ask too much of the little thing, but i think you should get some new quests for your fallout they worth a thousand hours of gameplay i guess

Hi there and willkommen zu GUN! I used to play Fallout NV on console unmodded (obviously) and since getting the FNV Ultimate Edition on sale for PC, I have never been able to go back. Vanilla just cannot compare.. Well, that was an unintentional tangent.

I haven't tried Horizon but I did play with 2287 for some time. I did like it but I didn't like that I couldn't see the faces of people for most of the game. Everyone ended up looking the same because of the masks. Uninstalled it for that reason.
