Hey I just noticed that some armors were really designed to look best with the pipboy equipped, especially those from project nevada and some vanilla armors. But most mod added armors just look bad with the pipboy and I personally prefer using a handheld pipboy device like the readius. But I really would like to know if it is possible to have a non working pipboy as an inventory clothing item that can be equipped and unequipped easily. I would still pretty much like to use the readius but I just want to see the arm mounted pipboy from time to time.

it could be made easily if you just find the model and create a new clothing item for it without the pipboy scripting attached. like a pair of glasses or something but using the pipboy itself as the model. not sure if anyone has done it yet though.

@Cruz011 the readius removes the pipboy from your arm so there wouldn't be any clipping. It is replaced by a handheld device which looks like a PDA. It works exactly like the normal pipboy. I mean I could use console commands to equip and unequip the regular pipboy but it is a hassle.
