Greetings from the UK! My name is SoleSurvivor and I'm a british female streamer on mixer who loves fallout! I got into Fallout through fallout 4 and have since gotten into modding fallout 3 and New Vegas on the PC.

I was drawn here because I hear you have an amazing mod called Upgrades from the Commonwealth whch I would love to use and showcase on stream - I think this is the link: https://www.gunetwork.org/t9261-release-new-vegas-upgrades-from-the-commonwealth

I can see that this is locked down. Does anyone have any tips on how to gain quick access? I will be streaming New Vegas Friday and will have to use alternative mods if I am unable to get access then which would make me sad as this mod looks amazing.

So more about me: I stream 3 - 4 times a week on XB and PC and am part of several amazing gaming and streaming communities. I love fallout and anything post-apocalyptic. I'm pretty good with my tech and love to help people out where I can. I have the most potato aim ever and if you make me drive in a game I will crash XD

Hello @SoleSurvivorTV welcome to the GUN . Gaining access is a process completely depends on you, my tips for you will be,

-Try to stay active, log in everyday, post in people's topics create topics. Just show GUN that you're an active member.
-Always respect the modders, after you download mod, writing a thank you will only take a second.
-If you want to gain access instantly, follow the screenshot contests. If you manage to get the 1st place you will instantly get promoted.

@SoleSurvivorTV - Welcome to GUN to start with! Screenshots subjects are chosen every so often and a friendly competition begins. It's fun to see others work. Enjoy the community

@SoleSurvivorTV Welcome to GUN! Nice name by the way! Unfortunately, there is no quick access to Upgrades from the Commonwealth since it is a closed access mod but if you become a part of this community, contribute to the community by participating in the aforementioned screenshot competitions, making high quality posts, and just being a part of the community and you'll have a very high chance of becoming a colonial.

I myself am a colonial and believe that mod authors should be able to release mods to a small audience that they can trust but I also believe that mods should be released to the public, even as small piecemeal to not keep mods from people. Everybody deserves to try out any mod, no matter the size, the content of the mod, or the author himself, and some mods have public and private versions here on GUN but some don't and I wish that every mod author did a public and private version like RSA for an example. But luckily, 95% of the best mods are already available to you and me without any special access so its not a big issue in my opinion despite my previous sentences or else I'd be more vocal about it. Most of GUN would most likely disagree but that is my opinion and I'm just one man. I don't want it to change or anything, but some adjustments should be implemented. Oh god, I ranted. I apologize.
