Hello everyone I'm new to this site and I think a lot of the mods on it are absolutely dope I made this thread because I wanted to see what everyone's favourite fallout game is and why. Mine are easily fallout 2 and fallout new vegas I just love the expansiveness and stories of those games along with the gameplay. What are your favourite fallout games... or games in general, or even Mods?

Welcome to GUN @Froppykun. The mods are great, but you end up sticking around for the people here in the long run. I agree with yoo @Froppykun Fallout 2 & New Vegas are my favorites too.
Bethesda's Fallout games never really capture the Fallout atmosphere Obsidian and Black Isle were going for. Fallout 3 is nice but thats it and Fallout 4 looking at it as a ''Fallout'' game is just garbage.

Welcome to GUN @Froppykun! We have some really good mods but an even greater community. Since Fallout 3 was my first introduction into the Fallout series I have to give it up to F3. I know a lot of people consider it not great or good but I loved the game and played it nonstop when it first came out. I love starting up a new game on TTW so I can enjoy both F3 and F:NV. So much fun.

Fallout 3 here - Adam Adamowicz did so much for the visual stylings and iconography of Fallout in one single title that it still blows me away today. The game could ride purely on that man's shoulders (God rest his soul) alone.

But complete aside, It's all up to tone for me, I'll always love every game in the series, but to date I call out Fallout 3 as the one to get closest to the ideal feel of a retro-futuristic duwop-apocalypse.

Story-wise and thematically, I'd go with New Vegas. I think it combines the reflective and retrospective nature of the original Fallouts (the idea of humanity and post nuclearism, learning/not learning from mistakes and thus repeating them) with the new updated designs and story structure of the newer Fallout games. For me, I feel it strikes the perfect balance between the two styles.

Everyone coming to the table in New Vegas has their own ideals and philosophy, but all at their core are fatally flawed. There's no real right choice, merely the choice that yields the most favourable results. While 4's factions were a real step in the right direction for the east coast, especially the Brotherhood, they still have nothing to rival the complexity or unique nature of groups like the NCR or Caesar's Legion, or the perspective of men like Robert House.

My first Fallout was the third! But actually I love FO4. FNV is okay I guess . I have to play FO1 and FO2. Favourite mod? Mothership Zeta Crew (FO3). DLC? Far Harbor (FO4).

Fallout shelter 100% change my mind.
