is it a bad thing if im still using nexus mod manager for both skyrim and fallout new vegas? i heard theres Vortex but im worried it might just mess up some things. a feedback would be nice.

It's not a bad thing if you're comfortable with it and it works for you. Although NMM as I understand it is end of life and being replaced by Vortex. I and many others use neither of the two, but Vortex was designed and worked on by the same author of my preferred mod manager Mod Organizer 2.

Again, if it works for you and does what you want then it's good. If you really like NMM you might also really like Vortex down the road and maybe others here can guide you if that is your choice.

I still use NMM, my guy. I go to github for the recent versions of it. I tried using vortex, but I just don't have time to learn a new mod manager. Maybe when I get the time to learn Vortex I'll leave NMM, but until then NMM is still reliable for me to use for Bethesda games.
