I want to do a playthrough of Fallout 3 again, but I can't decide if I should just play Fallout 3 GOTY or install that with New Vegas and TTW. I'm not really interested in playing through New Vegas again. Is there any benefit to playing through 3 with TTW?

The benefit with ttw is that you get more updated fallout mods, theres only a few fallout 3 mods that are updated. Roy and his team are finishing up ttw 3.0 which will include some of fallout 3's cut content. A lot of fallout 3 mods you can't use with ttw unless u convert it yourself/tinker with it though. I think you are better off just with tale of two wastelands just because you can have better mods like loot menu, solid project and others.

You can go onto the discord for ttw and the ttw crew has dev updates on it. They added back in the cryolator and other weapons into ttw 3.0.

played long time ago ttw but i chance to f03 i prefer the lighting and weather more than the fnv. f03 run´s absolut smooth no crash of somethins else. so its personal prefer what you choose

I have both TTW and F3 on my computer separately.

By sticking to F3 you maintain access to some of the best quest mods which haven't been converted to TTW. New York the Big Apple, Quest for Heaven series, Cube Experimental, etc. You also get to install wanderer's edition, which is harder to tinker with due to lack of MCM, but more expansive in places. The weapon additions are certainly a great touch which mods for TTW and NV have only come close to.

With TTW, you get all of the improved mechanics of New Vegas, with the added ability to mod back in the stuff that was removed, such as Big Guns and the original repair mechanic. Survival fits right in with the Capital Wasteland, hardcore mode feels more in place than in NV. A lot of your F3 favourite mods have alternatives for TTW, and TTW is, on average, more stable.

I like TTW because there are some NV mods which don't have an equivalent in F3. Convenient Accessories, for found and hand-crafted clothing elements, pouches, armor plates, etc. Project Ultimatum, for tactical solutions to gameplay and non-lethal intimidation solution. Solid Project, for numerous additions to the gameplay, including melee and unarmed finishers, including from stealth. TTW allows you to use a number of mods posted here, including Dragbody's power armor mod, for example.

And, ultimately, access to the Mojave Wasteland is very welcome after 100 hours of DC Wasteland. If you tinker with Project Nevada and install mods that take away your gear at the start of the NV segment, you can avoid being overpowered at the start. And finding Benny's henchmen is much more fun and pressing if your goal is to get back your equipment from them.

Either or tbh, TTW doesn't work with yup and its own "ttw fixes" has glitches and messes with some things that it shouldnt. I have ttw fixes but part of my mods went over ttw fixes so thats probably helping it not mess with certain things. TTW 3.0 should be a really good experience for fallout 3 with new vegas while adding the cut content. Idk when release for it is though. The dev team just saying soon.

ttw requires the original fallout 3 game mothership zeta crew has been converted and dragbody has plans to overhaul npcs for ttw in my opinion i prefer ttw because fallout 3 does not work with windows 10 unless you download a patch
