first off i would like to say hello to everyone. i just joined the site today. i've seen some of the work that is hosted here and have been rather impressed with it for a long while.

i just now finally got around to taking the plunge and registering. ive never really felt comfortable posting on forums, had some bad experiences in my earlier gaming days and lost the taste of it for the longest time. i just recently started posting on the nexus and i've been a member there for years.

i have a very large appreciation for content creators of all types, be it large or small mods. if it were not for them i would not have spent the countless additional hours of enjoyment of the many elder scrolls and fallout games i've played. i'm no spring chicken to modding.. i've been modding my games for years all the way back to morrowind and probably further back on other games that i cant remember... brain is kind of fuzzy on that.

i have an extensive love of anything fallout and or elder scrolls related. i can still remember the day i booted up fallout for the first time and fell in love with the irradiated landscape. recently i started playing around with outfit studio and doing small things like importing nifs of one outfit and blending it with another along with attempting outfit conversions for clothing and armor which has no BS support.. most of the time it doesnt end well, but im just starting to take baby steps.

i've always wanted to crack into the creation kit and learn how to actually make things but it all seems so... complicated. maybe one day ill actually learn provided i can view the proper tutorials. im not sure how much of a contribution i shall be to this fine community that i've heard so much about. but i applaud each and every content creator here and the many fans and friends of them. i am glad there is a place like this and others to help them fuel their creative fires to crank out content that people like me can enjoy

i look forward to being a part of this place and to see it continue to grow.i looked over some of the other "hey i'm a new guy" posts and i really wasn't sure what to write ... so i kind of just started typing.. i apologize for the great newbie wall of text. introductions have never really been my strong suit.

Welcome to GUN! Your user name cracked me up as soon as I saw it. I'm fairly new to the site and I've found nothing but welcome, good mods and modders and others with a passion for the game of their choice. It's a good place to hang and it's a lot more kick back than the Nexus. Hope you enjoy it like I do.

You should find plenty of help with your interests in BS and OS as well as Creation Kit. At the very least someone will direct you with helpful tutorial links. Welcome!

hey thanks for the warm welcome people, not really use to that sort of thing. i feel just like one of those massive hermit crabs from far harbor that are a part of their dwelling and only stick their head and legs out when they have to. so this is going to take some getting use to.

@jacoboriley nice to see that my name still gives a chuckle to people. ive gone by this name for a long time. i remember wanting to go by something that nobody in their right mind would want to use.. and the rest is as they say history.
@mindstormer yeah i actually looked at at that thread and tried to read it.. i got through most of it and read stuff about promotions and whatnot. ill be honest that was like informational overload and my vacuum tubes couldn't handle it. ill have to go over them a few times before i fully get the jist of the way you guys/gals work things around here.
