What's up everybody? I joined up because I'd like to learn to create mods and, if they are good enough, share them.
I've modded Skyrim fairly extensively, stopping short of using ENB presets. Same goes for Fallout NV, though I haven't played it nearly as much as Skyrim. Beyond those 2 games, I did play with some Deus Ex mods (mostly TNM), a bit of Arcanum, some Red Alert 2 mods, a couple of M&B:Warband mods, and I tried out creating maps for Thief 2. The Nameless Mod was impressive, particularly, due to the scope of the project. Full voice-acting, deep modifications (dual-wielding, etc), and a huge standalone campaign.
I have some practical experience building CAD models using SolidWorks, and I wonder if that could translate at all to creating mods. I also know a bit about coding concepts and have some HTML and CSS experience, though it's been years since I've used any scripting or programming languages.
Anyway, I am getting back into FNV and Skyrim. I realize that these games have well-established communities, but I still think there is plenty to be done.
