| metro is a must try if u liked fallout, It isnt full on fallout, but it definitley is a much hardcore experience, its a shooter, so it isnt really an RPG type game, but its great in terms of post apocalyptic. I think STALKER is good to, never tried it personally |

| Metro is great if you're okay with a way more linear game. It also has a much more depressing and somber atmosphere. As for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.,it technically isn't post-apocalyptic because it is only that one area that is fucked up and the rest of the world is still normal. If you're okay with that,it is still worth a shot though. Note,if you do give it a try, play on the highest difficulty. If you don't, everyone is a goddamn bullet-sponge and your starting weapons will be more useful as a dildo than actual equipment. _________________ |

| Metro is a definite must-play if you enjoy the post-apocalyptic style. It plays more like a traditional campaign shooter like @zodiac213 said, so as long as that's ok the game looks stunning. Last light Redux is one of the best single-player shooters I've played in a while. This might seem a little out there but I personally recommend The Division. It's a more modern apocalypse shooter meaning there isn't rotting buildings so much as the apocalypse only happened a year or so before the events of the game, but it makes up for the lack of destruction by making the recreation of new york city look so unbelievably realistic it is almost too much at first. If you heard bad things about the game at release I'd heavily suggest giving the game a second look as the devs continue to patch and update the game and even have special event modes for the online areas. _________________ - Can you figure it out?:

| If you're interested in the atmosphere of post-apocalyptia rather than the FPS mechanics I can recommend you try Wasteland 2. It's a turn-based RPG strategy game but the wasteland it's set in is just as if not more interesting than Fallout's wasteland _________________ "It's me again, Mr. New Vegas, reminding you that you're nobody 'til somebody loves you. | Mad Max is a good game if you liked New Vegas. It's driving around in a desert upgrading your car until you get the big daddy V8. Then you run people over. |

| If you want something a little more old school Fallout Underrail is a pretty fun turn based isometric game. That kinda stuff isn't really my thing usually but honestly I got a surprisingly large amount of enjoyment from it. I do gotta warn it's a little light on story though, at least the version I played years ago. |

| Wasteland 2 is a bit like the old-school fallout games; turn based, over-head view. It doesn't play anything like the shootery modern games but hearkens back to the old days of fallout. |

| Metro is a great post-apocalyptic game series, Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light are the current instillations of the series, with Metro Exodus coming around 2019-2021 (guessing any potential delays.) If Fallout survival is something that you enjoy, you'd love Metro.
The games are based around a series of novels by author Dmitry Glukhovsky, I'm not going to go into detail about the story, but it's genuinely unique for a linear first person shooter. You have very little resources, ammo and meds are precious; you almost always find yourself having to make tactical choices and that's on basic difficulty and normal settings. It gets even more intense with Ranger hardcore survival mode, it ends up being a true to the core survival horror game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R isn't necessarily post-apocalyptic, but it takes place in the zone, aka the Chernobyl contamination area. It encompasses three games, each of which are focused on the same level of decision making as Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light. The exception being that Stalker games: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat, are all FPS with open world exploration; in addition, there are a ton of awesome mods that fix up or add on to the games.
Some other suggestions: 7 Days to Die DayZ mod for ARMA 2 DayZ the standalone game Frostpunk The Last of Us (PS3/PS4 only) Left for Dead series Dead Island series State of Decay Wasteland (the original inspiration for Fallout, much like Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, turn-based RPG) Wasteland 2 (the sequel to the above game, it was released back in 2014, yet it retains the turn-based single player RPG element of it's predecessor.) |

| If you're really into story, then SOMA might be worth checking out. It leans more towards the sci-fi side, but is also a pretty nice post apocalyptic game just for the atmosphere. You really feel like everything is in a state of desolation when you play it. It's a bit of a walking simulator though, so if you're not into that, then it may not be worth your time. |

| Metro (more specifically Metro: Last Light) is highly recommended. The base game and it's DLCs are fun to play and it is a game with a post apocalypse setting.
The Last of Us is a great game with a post zombie apocalypse setting. Lots of feels for a first play through.
I recommend Wasteland 2 if you do not mind the top down tactical RPG gameplay. It is hard to recommend the original Wasteland in today's day and age especially if you did not grow up with those types of games.
What I am looking forward to is Dying Light 2, which is another game set in a post zombie apocalypse, so you could also look into that when it is released.
Edit:
I also want to sneak in Tell Tales The Walking Dead. The first one definitely has a great story. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka?

| @Muhammad Dzikri Pratama Oof that's a tough one. I'd consider the Bioshock Trilogy to be one of the best video game series I've personally ever played. It's one of the few games I still have installed on the good ol' PS4 that I still play consistently. In a sense you could consider it a post-apocalyptic game in that there was a (somewhat) fully functional society that no longer exists, and you're exploring the ruins and depths of the city's vast waterscape. I'd say it is more akin to a dystopian alternate reality drama than a typical post-apocalyptic game. If you haven't played it go fix that right now. It is easily the greatest. _________________ - Can you figure it out?:

| Convoy is another post-apocalyptic game which is inspired by FTL and Mad Max since you cross a wasteland to search for parts for your crashed ship and you are given units to protect your cargo. Also death is permanent if you are into it. You also try Hard Truck Apocalypse and Hard Truck Apocalypse: Rise of Clans, two old games that has you driving a truck making trading from other towns, loot, and defending yourself from raiders and bandits. Basically low budget Mad Max(again!) with vehicular combat. Voice acting isn't great since it came from Russia but the voices are all in English(though gameplay wise it's pretty good). 3 of these games are all on Steam so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it. _________________ "An armed society is a polite society". |

| Gonna be Metro and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I mean, those are like the gold-standards for post-apocalyptic games besides Fallout. Wasteland is another good one, from what I've heard. |
