Hey Quick question ya'll I've been watching to change the sounds that raiders and gunners make when they die, like their death groans and yelps to death noises from a different game, however after looking around I think I'd have to go into the Geck for that, but I have no idea how that works either and can't find any tutorials on editing existing npcs. Any help would be appreciated, please and thank you.

Go to the Creation Kit

Save your esp in this guide i will name it Raidertest.

Character Tab

Select Quest And Filter With the words Generic

Look for DialogueGenericRaider



Go to the Combat Tab

Click on the Death topic

Create a new line in this example it will be Shit i'm dying


Click the line that you have just created and make sure Random is selected

Now Click on the Response text Line


Look for the voice filename in this case it's 00000F99_1

Now remember when i told you to save before doing this well this is why

The path to the voice file will be named after the ESP that you've created

As you can see there's three voice types RaiderFemale01,RaiderMale01,RaiderMale02
Depending on where or not you have more then one voice actor Saying the exact same thing you're going to create a Folder according to the Voice type that you would like to change
Data/Sound/Raidertest.esp/RaiderFemale01/00000F99_1
OR
Data/Sound/Raidertest.esp/RaideMale01/00000F99_1
OR
Data/Sound/Raidertest.esp/RaideMale02/00000F99_1

I did everything you said, and now when I kill raiders in game with the esp on, whenever they die you can see the subtitle "Shit I'm dying" but how do I change the actual sound of them dying? Like when they die they usually just like groan or moan or whatever but I want to swap out those sounds with other sounds.

You're going to need to rename the sound file after the voicefile name and place it on the data folder on the path that's specfied, also you need to make sure that the audio is in the correct format if it isn't you're going to have to download a audio converter that converts to .ogg.
