Hello everyone,
My name is Ted. I'm a returning member from the old VGUNetwork (Back when it had its own website).
I actually registered for the new website right when the old one went down, but then you know, life happened, 6 months of school flew by in what seems like a week and all the sudden I'm wondering what the hell happened to this year.
Regardless of what's happened in the past 6 months of my life, back on point. I'm a 17 year old just starting college student and avid programmer. I like to play Fallout, Counter Strike, and DayZ. I originally found my way to this website through watching many YouTube videos and lots of searching on the interwebs trying to figure out where people got all these amazing mods. I was soon lead to this website (or the old version of it), www.vgunetwork.com. Once I had found the website, I read the rules, then introduced myself and got on the 30 posts or whatever it was thing to get membership and sent a ridiculously written PM to the admins regarding getting status. I remember showing the PM to a friend and asking him if it was "OK to send to the admins of a serious modding website". He replied "Yeah, totally". My PM was something among the lines of this:
"Dear King DVated, Queen ___, and Toilet Cleaner Ruski Esplin (Forgot the name of the second person, sorry whoever it was.)
This message is regarding my promotion from the Royal Janitor rank to the Noble Housekeeper rank. I have fullfilled all of the requirements of doing so; cleaned the kitchen sink, mopped the King's undergarments drawer, and of course most importantly prepared the royal pudding.
Please do consider such request.
Thank you."
Random I know, but they did say please put some thought and effort into the PM so I did just that exactly. Took them about a week to respond to my PM. At this time I was still continuing my activity on the VGUNetwork so I was 100% certain I'd be accepted regardless of how ridiculous my PM was. After that, I downloaded a few mods, gave some feedback of course, met some nice people, helped a guy with testing, and you know, all that fun jazz. Memories, oh the memories.
I haven't been online in an extremely long time so I figured a re-introduction would be a good thing to start back off.
Anyways, glad to finally be back on the VGUNetwork. Looking forward to meeting many new people here.

That pm made me laugh a little, that pm is pretty funny. Welcome back to VGU Lt.Xeon, this VGU is probably as good as the old one....that being said I never was on the old VGU website so don't take my word for it.

Hi man, I'm not sure but on the old VGU I think someone with 'Xion' in their name helped me with a few problems, I only remember the Xion part cos the place is in Honest Hearts and every time I saw the name I used to think of the DLC. Welcome back anyway man.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Sorry I haven't replied in a few days to this topic, I had a huge midterm (4 weeks into school wtf is wrong with my professor) that I spent this entire past week studying for that I just got over.
