| Trying to get use to how this works but I saw a video on the Dragbody - Overhaul that's apparently from this website. Planning on modding fallout new vegas I haven't played it in a while. I'm just a 21 year old modder that wants to mod games that's all I do. Take alot of screenshots too. Could anyone suggest the best fallout new vegas mods from this website that I could try out? I'm trying to overhaul the game as much as I can to make it a very different experience from my last play throughs. |

| @Deconstroyer i'd recommend DragBody's overhaul mods an/or armor mods or...really anything by him, as well as mods by Samatron015 on here or iSquall on DeviantArt if you're into Mass Effect as well as Fallout. also, welcome! hope you enjoy your time here |

I think since several years ago when I've burnt 2 graphic cards because a too heavy modded oblivion game (high poly models + textures) that the "best" mods are not always the ones that look good in game. I know, things have changed since and GPUs are more powerfull than ever and can load easilly a heavy FNV, but I consider that 12-50 Mo textures for a single model is way too much, (especially when they are many). Everytime I download a mod, I check the folders, bsa and so on to see if I can reduce the size of the textures and if the models are not too high poly, (or if they use numerous pieces of models that multiply the number of textures) because I know if it can render very well IG, (it's the goal) it can slow down too much the game and create unstability, if the game has a big amount of these models. In this case, it's not the GPU the culprit, but the game engine itself, even patched, 4 Go are quickly reached and there's nothing to do except reversing back the textures. So I make wise choices for FNV, as I intend to mod it heavilly too... For example, my FO3 game, even with optimized textures, performance patches, etc... had reached it's limit, (too much models/textures IG and very important amount of scripts...) : So what I'm saying is not that best looking mods are not well done or something, (on the contrary) rather just you must think about what you want to do with your game, how skilled you are to optimize it and avoid troubles...and enjoy it...smoothly, without installing a bunch of heavy mods, thinking your geforce gtx75000 can handle it easilly, but rather keep in mind in this case the limit is...the game itself...and mods conflicts, (scripts also...) that are a big part of the challenge... But I don't know what to use for gun animations because there's Asurah's re-animation pack that looks amazing but I don't know if it would work for most of the guns I got here on the gun. I was surprised that hitman took down his animations from the nexus because Asurah's seemed to be going through quite a few bugs still and I'm not entirely sure if it even works on guns that aren't vanilla. |

I've been downloading gun mods from mostly Master_Shifu like this https://www.gunetwork.org/t4018-fnvpublic-release-r-s-a-tactical-weapon-modSays conflicts are mods that change reloading animation. I'm guessing this is for a few guns though. I will try it out and see what happens. |

As much as I can get from it since I'm new these two guns popped up next to to people on the upper right corner of the post and you just click the top or bottom gun for + or - rep and I'm guessing it gives them 1 rep, or takes away one. |
