| So I've been playing and modding NV for years. But recently I was just looking at install guides, and I can see that it suggests tediously one by one running a script to create bash tags. each mod, one at a time. That sounds so tediously exhausting and way more work than it's worth. The thing is, I've been modding for years and have never done this, and never noticed anything wrong. I'm wondering what's up. |

| It is not alot of work to do, unless you have like thousands of esp/esm files.
It helps when make a bash or merge patch more accurate. I dont use it for though i just do everything manually anyway |

| I have as many mods as NV will handle, maybe more. Do I only have to generate bashed tags for the merged esps then, and not the individual mods? That might explain why I've never had to do it before, this is the first time I've had to use merges. Back in the old days I didn't go over the mod limit. |

| Yea you tags your merged mods not the individual mods. After you merged your mods you disable them anyway so theres no point tagging them. |
