I apologize if I'm mixed up and posted about this previously. I don't _think_ I did but sometimes I lose track of what is said where.
Has anyone checked out Barstool Games mod for Fallout 4? I haven't tried it yet (soon) but it appears to add card games to fallout 4. I think that's cool, I've been wanting to build a proper casino for my f4 settlements.
But it also got me wondering. Is the scripting system for F4 far more advanded than New Vegas? I wonder if someone could have added poker (or even Pazaak!) to NV with something like that system? I don't know much about that kind of programming so I can't make heads or tails of it myself.
I think it's possible to use, or convert swf files to pipboy games too. Although if it were easy it probably would have been done by now, so maybe I misunderstand it. A lot of people didn't care one way or the other about the pipboy video games but I love the vintage stuff and it fit well into my fallout world.
Yeah, I know, even if poker is somehow possible it's a hell of a lot of work on an already unstable game.
Edit: Also meant to add: I don't think there are any simple straight-forward thrusting weapons in NV (Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't spent too much time with "primitive" melee weapons in the game despite hundreds of hours.") But yeah, if there was a thrusting pool stick, I can't help but wonder if pool would be possible; the game apepars to have "ball-ready" physics in the game already.
And hell, basket ball.
