| Alright guys this'll be similar to the poll I had posted for the Fallout Fanfic I posted in February but this time the topic will be something a little bit different. Your choices are not going to be a theme, I already decided that. No your choices are going to be six different Counter Terrorism Units. Your choices are: The GIGN (France): An elite CTU from the French National Gendarmerie. These guys are like a S.W.A.T team with a military budget and Special Operations training, in a word: Badasses. - Groupe d'intervention de la Gendarmerie nationale:
Joint Task Force 2 (Canada): Part of Canadian SOF-C (Special Operations Forces Command) not much is known about the unit since much of the information is restricted from public access but it does exist and this unit has more than made a name for itself. They are also known for having some of the best snipers in the world, just ask a certain terrorist group in the Middle East. - JTF2:
GSG9 (Germany): An elite tactical unit of the German Federal Police or Bundespolizei, this unit was created in response to the loss of the Israeli Olympic Athletes at the Munich Games. They have completed over 1,500 operations and only had to discharge their weapons in five of those situations. I think all they have to do is stare at some fool and handcuffs magically appear on the dude's wrists. - Grenzschutzgruppe 9:
SOBR (Russia): Literally the police version of Spetsnaz, no joke. They are part of the National Guard of Russia and are responsible for combating organized crime as well as counter terrorism operations, mainly internal operations. - Spetsial'niy Otryad Bystrovo Reagirovaniya:
FBI Hostage Rescue Team (MURICA!!!): Some of the baddest mothers to ever walk this earth. I know what you're thinking, a hostage rescue team? Nah that's not all they are, these boys are the answer to almost everything when the FBI gets involved. That not enough well dig this, they cross train with both military and police CTUs around the world, hell most of their Operators have an SOF background not to mention they're training is literally a mirror image of the Combat Applications Group's (Delta Force) Selection phase. - FBI HRTs:
CIA Special Activities Division (America): Not much is known about the S.A.D, all I can say for sure is that their ranks are made up of dudes from all Tier 1 units. No mission is too tough for these dudes, just knowing a unit like this exists is enough to keep bad guys awake at night. Here's how scary they are, when you see them they could easily be mistaken for a Private Military Contractor. Yeah, that's some spooky shit if you ask me. - The Ground Branch:
Alright so there are your choices, this poll will go all the way through March and end April 2nd, cause if I told you April 1st y'all would think this would be a joke. As tempting as that is this is way too much typing for me to pull the wool over someone's eyes. Anyway cast your votes and once they have been tallied expect the story out no later than April 25th. 4/2/18: Alright guys the votes are in and wow it's a four way draw. I'll choose the winner and post the story around the 25th, possibly earlier depending on how long it takes me to write it and proof read it. _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative

| @matticus4205 GIGN of course as I'm french, I'm proud about this special unit founded by captain Barril and Prouteau several years ago, as I'm also with GIPN, (police elite task force) founded by commissaire N'Guyen van loc, nicknamed "the chinese" and dead in 2008, (RIP) with famous quote about mobsters : "If you start again, I'll stick two in your head", (implied two ... .357 magnum bullets ...) 1980, Commandant (major) Prouteau et Capitaine (captain) Barril :

| Honestly @darkstyler the GIGN are some amazing dudes, also managed to catch some interviews with their sister unit RAID after all that shit that happened at that theater not too long ago. Between these two units as well as any other specialized police units y'all may be hiding, France has definitely earned it's place in the CTU community. _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative |

| Personally,I'd have to go with the Russians. I'm just thinking about the possibilities like dealings with the Russian Mafia,DEALING with the Russian Mafia, corruption, and your typical Russian shenanigans. _________________ |

| @zodiac213 Same this is like one of the lesser known CTUs, usually when Russians are portrayed it's the Alfa group or some top tier Spetsnaz unit like Vympel. Not till too long ago no one really knew there was a police form of the Spetsnaz. _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative

| I always liked the mystery between operators in the intelligence community, from what I understand they're pretty hardcore guys, many of which are contracted out from what I gather. At least that's what I've heard, I knew a SOF guy who was with a task force when they were working on shutting down the drug trade between Pakistan, and the mountains of Afganistan who said they worked in conjunction with a spook when they would go and see all of the ANP, ANA, and village elders to try and smooth over their presence. Certainly some eerie shit. _________________ |

| @HunterK Yeah that SAD are some scary top tier dudes, there's also a sort of Contractor version of them that the CIA uses to maintain security for their bases in country called GRS, only until recently we started to know about this crew since they were the ones holding down the Annex in Benghazi. As weird as this may be Michael Bay did a pretty good job at portraying them in the movie 13 Hours if you wanna check it out. There's also a book out that has the same name. _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative |

| @"matticus4205" Dude! It's so funny that you mention the GRS guys and 13 hours, because I just watched it last night with my dad! Him and I were talking and I think that whoever did the casting for the movie did one hell of a job. Most notably the guys the cast for Ben Smith, and Kris Paronto. _________________ |

| @HunterK Tanto himself said that Pablo was the perfect actor to play him, even if Pablo is way much taller than Tanto. Plus there was a moment during filming where Max and the real Oz would switch places during takes cause they look so much alike. I'm honestly getting to the point where I'm just gonna call off the poll and write a S.A.D story _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative |

| @"matticus4205" No way! I never even noticed that! (If you write a SAD story, just know I'm reading the shit out of it.) How much taller was Pablo than the real Kris? _________________ |

| @matticus4205 Damn, he's got an inch on me. That's pretty tall. On a side note I seriously want that LVOA-C that Rone carries, although I know they're buku expensive. _________________ |

| @HunterK Wasn't a LVOA, it was a GRY from Salient Arms. Main difference is the two prongs that appear over and under the muzzle which doesn't leave room for that bulky as compensator and when the comp is removed is just a threaded muzzle on a free floating barrel. _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative |
