| I would say my more depressing moments would be when I have a max lockpick skills and I find *sniffs* an inaccessible door.
Seriously though I do agree with Sinclair's story, but Ulysses' life in the divide (prior to the detonations) makes you feel terrible upon the realization of your part in the event and robbed him of his second chance. _________________ War. War never changes. - My Achievements:

| Depressing hmm. The story from the west vegas slavers that sold away families to the Fiends made me depressed about humanity. And it really made FNV seem so much darker. Espacially the baby or kid cant remember. But fuck those guys. Get Fucked _________________ "My uncle took my nose So I took his life"

| @Posterize4VCI'm gonna one up you there and say the whole story of Randall Clark. out of recent memory this is the most depressing moment to me, at least in New Vegas. The real kicker here, is that the descendant tribals have marked all of Randall's gifts to them as "Taboo" and have never benefited from them. So in the end his legacy had been lost to them and replaced by stories of the "Father in the caves." _________________ "Greetings Outlander!" |

| Honestly one of the saddest characters in Fallout is one we never truly meet. Randall Clarke was a survivor of the atomic war and we learn his stories through notes and terminals. His story is one of grief, tragedy, and loss. No matter what he does, the ones he cares for most die. That, in my opinion, is a pretty sad moment in the Fallout series. _________________ "Time and tide waits for no man" - Geoffrey Chaucer

I'd have to agree with you on that one, back when I first played HH, I had no idea how important and vital Randall Clark is to the history of the Zion tribes until I got a bit older and watched Oxhorn's video on him from his series on Honest Hearts. I recall shedding a tear for Mr. Clark, especially after what happened to his first wife, second wife, his children, but in the end, despite his pain and suffering throughout his life, he died peacefully. It's truly a legendary story, a story of turmoil, of love, of sacrifice, but most importantly, of peace. _________________ " Life is a beautiful and awesome process, awe-inspiring exchange of living things working together or against each other for each their own purposes." -Me, Matthew. |
