with the upcoming Mandalorian Tv show coming, i thought i'd ask you guys who your favourite mandalorian is, from the o.g. Boba to the more obscure like Jaster Mereel.

Mine has to be Tarre Vizsla (the first jedi mandalorian) even if we don't know much about him, he still made the coolest saber in all of star wars so kudos to him

I have to second what @Tribal Raven said, I definitely have a soft spot for Canderous Ordo as well considering the fact that the KOTOR games are a big part of my childhood. Other than Canderous, I also really like Jango and Boba Fett but that's mostly because of their design rather than who they are as characters.

@"Kaiser Atlas" I thought Mandlore Ultimate was cool but if we think about it clones are also mandlorians so my favourite clones are Blackout for his name,Fives since he was badass,Fordo being even more badass and Omega squad for their armor designs

@Captain_Blackout well the clones technically aren't mandalorian as mandalorians weren't a specific race rather a culture of warriors living on mandalore, so the clones were really just humans, any species could be mandalorian if they were accepted into the culture

Although: most of my knowledge is Expanded universe so it may no longer be canon

@Kaiser Atlas yeah that's correct. If you really want to get technical, Jango and Boba are not REAL Mandalorians as the warrior clans had been exiled to the farthest reaches of the Outer Rim by the time of the Clone Wars.

Rather, they had the "heart" of a Mandalorian because they were trying to keep the image of them alive by wearing their armor and living the life of a warrior, keeping the legends alive.

@Tribal Raven ah my mistake, i thought he was the mandalore during the mandalorian civil war following the death of Jaster and that the other Mandalorians were the renegades e.g. tor vizsla and the death watch

@Tribal Raven oh yeah i'm talking EU, the disney lore is an abomination especially how much they've weakened sabers i mean the force awakens alone had two people get hit by sabers and come out completely fine, like where's the maiming??? if no one loses in arm or a leg in the rise of the skywalker i'm gonna riot

but yeah, i was talking about Legends, i don't think Jaster or Tor vizsla is even canon, just Pre vizsla and Tarre Vizsla

Edit: yeah they'd have been a better enemy to come from the outer rims than a Empire knock off with a shoehorned in new force sensitive leader who could have easily been replaced with any old character, i'd have even preferred snoke to be that random kid jedi that gets shot in front of bail organa in revenge

@Kaiser Atlas Biggest thing that pissed me off about lightsabers was the idea that their Kaiber Crystal changed color based off the Jedi/Sith using it...

Like everything about the construction of lightsabers that we learned from LEGENDS was just thrown under the bus because screw people who can't comprehend that the color of the saber was the CHOICE of the force user who built it!

This kinda crap just boils the blood of me, the guy who invested literal thousands of hours into the KOTOR games when he was a kid (and still now)...

@Tribal Raven well i hope you'll agree with me the throne room fight in the last jedi is awful, there is ONLY 2 good bits, snoke bouncing lightning of the metal floor (pretty creative) and kylo igniting a saber through someones face, the rest of the choreography is awful half of the Praetorians either wait their turn to fight or practically throw away their weapons, not to mention a scene where rey some how magically kicks 3 people at once with one leg

EDIT: we've not had some good choreography since Revenge it's a pity really

@Captain_Blackout at least they made Darth Bane Canon, no where near what he was in legends but he is canon nonetheless
