Hi I was watching a Fallout New Vegas mod video and I heard about this site so here I am. I'm Lily and I like drawing, playing games and hanging out with my pets. My favourite games are Monster Hunter Generations, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Oblivion, Skyrim, Pokemon Moon and Fallout New Vegas. I'm from Australia. I hope everyone's having a nice day and I'm a lil unsure about what I should post or say in all honesty because I don't wanna post in the wrong section. Oh yeah and sorry if I ever ask simple questions when installing mods I keep messing them up and weird things keep happening. Once for some reason the snow around Jacobstown was turning bright pink then black instead of being y'know... snow. So I'm hoping to understand more by joining this community and not have strange texture glitches, hurray!

Australia, Monash university in Melbourne for the FODMAP diet, (I have a leaky gut syndrom with some others health problem, (as everybody else so nothing special)) that's why Monash is a source of interrest to me. I also use the Australian online database source to avoïd at maximum some nutrients my gut is not abble to manage correctly. In this country you have some innovative and renown health concepts that we don't unfortunately have in France, so congratulation.

@darkstyler I vaguely remember hearing about the FODMAP diet from my gastroenterologist. My doctors thought that inflammation of my brain brain after a severe gastrointestinal illness was partially what caused my biochemical depression. It's interesting how people are finding all these explanations for stuff and how parts of the body can have such a big effect on other parts.

I like seeing the landscapes in the country, especially seeing all the birds. I think the birds are the best thing about Australia. We have lots of parrots here. I often hear lorikeets squabbling over nectar and for some reason they really like to roost in palm trees near shopping centres and fight for their own spot.

What's it like in France? I've not been outside of Australia. I know of some beautiful poultry breeds like Faverolles chickens and Toulouse Geese. I also think Brittany dogs are really beautiful! Do you see many animals?

Particularly small intestine is the bottom of so many deceases, because it's the organ that absorbs 80% of the nutrients ! So if it's sick, the body will be sick, it's a question of time. Chinese people say the intestine is the reflect of the soul and I think they are right.
Mine is sick since more than 3 years now (and I work really on it since 7 months, when this door is opened, it's long to recover, often 2 or 3 years...or more), except all of my doctors are not trained as in Australia or some other countries to heal such deceases and simply don't know what to do, except I'm always cold especially at night (bad glycogens management)   and I lost 60 pounds (30 kilograms of fat and..muscles because I don't have any fat anymore) since the end of 2015 ! These last days, using a kind of dissociativ diet, I found that my problem was in fact for almost every "sugars" and also starch, so it becomes difficult to keep a good balanced diet. I'm currently working on a kind of paleontological diet and replace sugars by fat and proteins + vegetables, (= sugars) hoping to be abble to re-introduce more vegetables, in a month or two. For now I must calculate each vegetable quantity, like a fructosemic, but hey life worths it ! So that's why I'm crazy about nutrition and try to understand what's happening to me, because the only way to heal myself is to understand, this needs much energy everyday. I wish your problems will arrive to an end too

France is green and cold at this time and the only animals I see those days are those I put in my meals^^. No seriously, we have much birds too, like pigeons and starlings, they shit everywhere, it's impressive when you see 10 thousand of them flying like one and bombing cars, trees lol. Better not be under ! Well I don't really like dogs, they are very sympathic but they often stink, so I prefer cats. Do you have some pets at home ?

I'm jealous  of that! It must be so nice to have cool weather because you get to wear jumpers (sweaters) and scarves. It does sound hard to walk on ice without falling though. It gets super hot around this time of year. It was around 35 degrees celcius a few days ago. It also gets really gross and humid. My birds really don't like the heat, especially the chickens.

Yup! My family's got 16 chickens, a parrot and 4 dogs. I love my chickens they make me really happy and come and sit on my lap and follow me. We've got two separate coops, one for the small chickens and one for the big chickens. Do you have a cat since you said you like them? I don't know much about cats as I've never had one.

I wish I could but I don't live in a house and I don't want my pet to be prisoner of my lodging everyday, without beeing abble to go out when I'm at work 10 hours a day, that's not a life. Cats are selfish, greedy and often temperamental, but ... they are as sweet, cuddly and so funny everytime. I think it's one of the only pets that we tend to excuse when they do small things. And about your chickens, despite their strange lookin and behaviors sometimes, have you noticed they are more intelligent than most people think ? Did you give them names ?

I think they're smarter than people give them credit for. They know certain buckets mean food is on the way and they know if I get my collapsible chair there might be mealworms. I think what's more important than their intelligence is that they are very curious and sweet. They come over and investigate anything different like if I have nailpolish on and they like to peck my 3ds, it's really cute! They don't peck the buttons long enough to really do anything but rather they try and grab them. They also like to stare at the dogs when the dogs are inside behind a door and the chickens are safe from them. They also like to watch the other flock of chickens and come right up to their cage when one is out. You can't let them both out at once or they will bully eachother. I try to give all my chickens names but it can be hard as some of my chickens look pretty much identical. I usually find ways to identify them, though. Like one of my chickens has a slightly lighter neck so she is Lottie and the darker necked chicken is Doris. The ones I have trouble with are two identical light sussex chickens but I decided to call them similar names for that reason. One of the chickens is particularly mean and we have ended up calling her 'the araucana' instead of a name. She was given a name by my mother but we forgot it because it was a very complicated name.

I'll put their names then their colours and breeds.

The smaller chickens:

Dolly - brown silkie
Melanie - partridge silkie
Doris - pekin frizzle
Lottie - pekin frizzle
Hilda - buff pekin

The larger chickens:

Gonzo - Rhode Island red
Agatha - australorp
Mable - light sussex

Camilla- light sussex
Pebbles - Plymouth rock
Rocky - Plymouth rock
Betty - buff sussex

This year I'm starting at university to get a bachelor of fine arts. It'll take a while to get and I'm a little nervous about what university will be like but I'm excited at the same time. I love to make art so I'm hoping with a bachelor of fine arts I'll appear more professional to people and then I'd attract more of a customer base. @Crazyparrotlady Sorry, I've been busy this week and I missed your reply, if this is what you think you are made for, don't hesitate go on. Since 30-50 years, work has so evolved that almost nobody can pretend to do the same job for his whole life. In my case, every work I've done since 20 years has been dicted by the need to eat, that's cruel and simple at the same time but it's reality. Doing it's own professional choices based on "what I'd like to do" has became a luxe for most of people, so...if you have the brain, courage and oportunity to study and graduate to do a work that make you earn money and that you like very much, rush ! At least if you fail, you'll have the same options that most people have, working to eat. This should give you solid motivations for your achievements.

Actually, yes, only one but hard at this time and complex : beeing abble to continue working and keeping my actual job and heal is THE condition to go forward. I'm beginning to be in "deep shit" because every health problem I have, combine themselves together, contribute to prevent me from sleeping and increase my weight loss. I'm starting to run out of ideas, but hey I won't give up
