I personally want the NCR to come back to see how far they have fallen corrupt and cocky, I'd be cool with dethroning them with a new faction or the Brotherhood

I'd like to see the Shi explored more in the future along with the Bright Brotherhood. That or more about what happened with the White Legs and the other tribes after everyything a few more years down the road.

Yeah the white legs coming back would be neat, maybe a legion type faction without the kidnapping and murder of course.

Probably the Enclave. I know it would be unoriginal for them to rehash it, I hate to say it, but in my humble opinion Fallout 3 didn't portray the Enclave exactly well as the player couldn't truly join them (even though it wouldn't make any sense) and they just seemed like moustache twirling bandits cackling at the evil endeavours they commit, and of course, I never really had the chance to pour as many hours into the earlier Fallout games.

Also, the Minutemen. They also fall into the same boat as the Enclave do as they weren't fully fleshed as much as I'd like them to be. Unlike the Enclave, they make perfect sense to return, be it that they are pretty much Bethesda's NCR at this point, and Preston unfortunately is essential and there aren't no endings to wipe them out. This time, though, I want them to come back with flaws. No goody two shoes bs that they tried to pull with Fallout 4 and make them collapse like the NCR!

Hopefully, if not well at least someone can try to recreate it!

I like the idea of the Enclave, but their plans just made no sense to me in regards to their hatred of removing the people affected by radiation. None of the people hidden by the Enclave had any sort of immunity to the radiation within their DNA unless they were field agents. So you kill off everyone affected by the rads, then go out and get radiation just by practically stepping in the wrong puddle of whatever. On top of that, the gene pool is now eliminated giving biology a higher chance for abnormalities to develop because there's no fresh blood to shake things up.

The Minutemen I liked but the minute the ending with the Institute happened I just got furious. The amount of nuclear fallout washing into the river and being spread everywhere just made no sense to me how anyone thought that was a good idea.

Honestly, I don't want any factions to come back for 1 game. Maybe a few mentions of the Enclave, NCR, etc. but I hope they make a new set of factions so that the universe would expand further. Its getting a bit tiring to see the Brotherhood of Steel with their usual power armors

How about a faction that tames the mutants of the wasteland? Like Marauders riding Deathclaws and a Scientologist-like faction that carries Zetan-inspired armaments?

Please, no more Brotherhood of steel, just for 1 fucking game, i'm not saying there's not have to be power armors but come on! there's no need for another game with other brotherhood chapter or some shit like that, they could even move the location to another country, other wasteland, like Canada or Mexico(just saying). the posibilities are infinite. and obviusly no more Enclave which would have no reason to be in another game(not as a (big)faction at least)

Also it would be amazing a travel system between HUGE zones like MGSV in which each one will have different History, environment, factions / people, creatures, quests and different weather depending on the geography. what i'm trying to say is that bethesda doesn't need to keep recycling elements from previous games to make a great Fallout.

Was never a big fan of any factions personally. Enclave was pushy, BoS were isolationists, NCR meant well but were pretty heartless in actions, the legion were sociopaths... If I had to pic I would choose the NCR as they were pretty much the lesser of the evils.

Caesar's Legion, but without there misogynist and sexist ideas about women. I just want them to come back and crucified the fuck of everyone who gets in their way. Also i would like the new legion to be command by a new Caesar super intelligent like the first one but with the same brutality and lack of empathy Lanius had. Oh, and to make it even more awesome, be able to command the legion at some point if something happens to Caesar... If that happens, Otho definitely has to be there, i'm gonna nail him to the cross for not letting me fight in the arena. Asshole.

Nah. Rome had misogynistic views on women. If the Legion ever do come back (which is unlikely given that it's the evil ending), they have to still have those sexist views. No pussy versions of them where they've been SJW-ified and don't take slaves or openly accept women legionaries. The Legion have always been the savagery faction and I quite like them for being that.

The Brotherhood of Steel should come back as either a minor or major faction, though I'd much prefer the latter. They've have been a staple of the franchise and pretty much the coolest faction next to the Enclave in my opinion. I would like the East BoS to wage war on the NCR, however unlikely that is, it would make for an excellent questline in my opinion (of course, if they do it right).

BoS is so annoying i mean during fallout 1 and 2 the where like isolated technology assholes, and then in fallout 3 they just turned to some kind of saviors and saved the day with a big robot, the total opposite of what they're supposed to be. Fallou universe makes the BoS look like ultimate gods or something. I just blew their airstrip in fallout 4.

If the legion to come back I would, I want them to be more of a presence, like mini bases from the raiders/gunners in fallout 4 in new vegas they only had a few camps which made sense but it'd be cool to see them have more control over a region.

The Enclave would be great to see return in the next Fallout game.

In Fallout 4 all we got was a delusional former Enclave member who has a couple of lines of dialogue which provides no closure to the Enclave other then they have fallen in terms of power.

I mean look at Fallout 3. The Enclave might as well be Talon Company Mercs as they attack you on sight despite their claims on the radio that the Enclave is now in your towns and communities and are here to help.

Just my two cents since they are my favorite faction and throughout the games they are portrayed as terrible people despite justifications for some of their actions.

I think bringing back the NCR would be a good idea. Society was starting to be rebuilt with the help of the NCR, they started to move across the west coast to bring back old world ideas and the rule of law and government. It doesn't make a lot of sense how there was very little mention of the NCR in Fallout 4 and nothing about the Battle of Hoover Dam, since that battle is changing the fate of America. The NCR would have moved further out, even to the east, if they wanted a foothold across the country.
I don't think Bethesda would ever consider bringing them back because they really don't care. Seeing how Pete Hines basically admitted it on Twitter, we're never seeing them again.

Maybe we can see them hopefully in a DLC like in far harbor, or not if anything atleast have more mentions of them maybe stories about rangers taking down BOS patrols

I too hope the NCR returns. I'm hoping the next game there will be a war between Brotherhood and NCR.

I'd want them to bring back the Enclave but like a good guy version to where one would hear the atrocious things that they did back in F3 and now they are back trying to do good.

I would love to see the Enclave make a triumphant return. When I saw leaked images of vertibirds in FO4 I was so excited....only to be let down when they were not in the game.
