Okay, so I seem to have a problem. Whenever I go into the pip boy or the skill selection menu, I lag whenever I mouse over one of the options. I was okay with it for a while, but now it is driving me insane. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Try this,

Under controls section, in the fallout_Default.ini, change the following lines to 0:

fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0
fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0
fForegroundMouseBase=0
fForegroundMouseMult=0

If these don't work, give me a shoutout so we may try something different.

My pip boy usually lags when I have to many items in my inventory. I have over 80 weapons in my pip boy and 100+ armor from dragbody's mod and it lagged like hell. Not sure if this will help but I would type "pcb" (Purge Cell Buffers) on the console or have a mod do it automatically for you since it helps me deal with minor lag in game.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot, but it also lags when I have just a couple of items. I'll see if it works though.

I did this but it had no effect.

No luck on the PCB either. I did, however try taking my mods off and the lag was gone. After some messing around, it appears that the amount of mods determines the lag in the pip-boy.
