So who here has watched the latest star wars the last jedi movie trailer??
give me your thoughs and opinion's on it. let's have a discussion on things that happened in the trailer.
So, just tell me your thoughs on it, and things that caught your attention!!

I loved it, got me really hyped for the movie! I was kinda meh until now because I don't like The Force Awakens so much, but from the trailer it looks like it's gonna be the most beautifully shot Star Wars movie to date.
There was only one thing that I didn't like and it was the scene with Rey and Kylo. I know they are 2 different scenes cut together but I was so looking forward for something like that in the movie and now it just looks like a misdirect.

@lolosooraposo yeah, they may have been a cut and paste of two different scenes, but at the same time it seems to say that their will be something happening between rey and kylo, its unsure as of right now. and what about the scene where rey is kinda bent over backwards with a wierd look on her face, i wonder what that is all about??

It looked like he was draining her in some way. Maybe draining her "force". Don't know why wouldn't he do this to Kylo tho, since he is the grandchild of a Jesus-like character (Vader) and must be really powerful.

@lolosooraposo if thats what he's doing, then i'd say that more then likely rey is more powerful then kylo, she seems to be getting more powerful very quickly, so thats a possibility.

I'm somewhat excited for the Last Jedi, despite what naysayers say and despite what even Mark Hamil has said about the new trilogy. It's a step-up from the Force Awakens, my least favorite film in the french fries next to Return of the Jedi and Attack of the Clones.

I'd wager that even the Phantom Menace is better than Episode VI, and with Jake Loyd and Jar-Jar Binks, that's saying something.

Out of all the new characters, I'm most interested in Finn with Kylo Ren coming right after. There was this scene in the trailer of Finn with First Order Stormtroopers walking behind him. From the shot it almost looked like they were following instead of escorting. Maybe he's undercover, or maybe he is with the First Order along, the guy is pretty selfish tbh. Not completely loyal to the Resistance and only helped them in Episode VI because of and to get to Rey on Starkiller Base.

Or maybe it's nothing and I'm over analyzing the few moments he was actually featured in the trailer.
As for Kylo Ren, I hope he's depicted as much stronger this time around. I thought he was mostly fine in the previous film, one of the few problems I did have is once Rey took up Anakin's lightsaber and knocked him down a peg, despite the fact she's never wielded a saber in her life (as far as we know given current info) and has only just discovered her force sensitivity. The fight Finn put up, if you want to call it that since Kylo was toying with him the entire time, is somewhat justified in that he was a former riot control trooper and was as comfortable with melee combat as he was a blaster.

I'm also curious who Snoke is referring to in the trailer; Kylo or Rey. I remember reading somewhere that Snoke took interest in Kylo Ren because of his lineage, and that apparently he had a balance of light and dark in him. "Something truly special" can almost fit that bill. No idea if that's actually canon, either way it does make some sense.

I suppose he could also be talking about Rey, of how she's powerful in the force that even Luke has acknowledged.

Pretty meh. Though I really didn't enjoy much of The Force Awakens so it's probably that. I'm interested what story George Lucas had for the sequel trilogy before Disney threw them away, I mean I really love all 6 episodes of the saga which he wrote the stories for. But seeing who's directing this movie has me interested.
To me, J. J. Abrams has no clue on what makes a Star Wars movie and just copied A New Hope's story, not caring to expand the universe further and played it safe. It sucks that he's returning to finish the trilogy, he said Episode 9 will connect the whole saga but who cares, he didn't care to connect the prequels or even the originals, TFA feels more like a reboot, with some references to the other movies, instead of a sequel to Return of the Jedi. Maybe Rian Johnson will make Rey a likeable character instead of the Mary Sue she was and make Kylo Ren and Snoke intimidating villains. But Mark Hamill has said some negative things about The Last Jedi which has concerned me.
Rogue One though was pretty good, I'm actually interested more in the anthology movies more than the new trilogy.
