Perhaps for the next Fallout game, they could make it like how it was for the first two Fallout's, the eagle eye view gameplay. It would be cool to see modern graphics with the style of the first games.

While It would be good for those who like those kinds of games, it seems most people were introduced to the franchise with 3, NV and 4, so it'll probably never happen. Of course, If it does, I'd figure it would be a free game like Fallout: Shelter, and have less time put into it than the earlier games.

If they are going to make any more spin off titles, they're going to do something similar to New Vegas where they hand the reins over to different devs while Beth focuses on the next game, although I have a feeling it won't be Obsidian again.

I'm not to particular about it being isometric; the camera angles aren't what made those games different from Fallout 3 and 4.

New Vegas, aside from being real time, is just as much of a CRPG as the originals with the same design philosophy that went into the classic fallouts. A CRPG is basically a simulated tabletop session and the "computer" is meant to be an automated GM so to speak. CRPGs are all about simulated dice rolls to represent real life actions, and more importantly branching narratives; which Fallout 3/4 lack:
