| So, if you don't know what fallout: New california is, I'll just do a quick sum up paragraph below.
Fallout: New California (Previously known as: Project Brazil) is a Fallout: New Vegas mod that takes place 20 years before the events of New Vegas. It's set in California, within New California Republic territory, about the struggles of New California against California factions that impact the New California Republic in New Vegas. You start off in a place called Vault 18 (A fictional vault for the mod) and you eventually exit to find the NCR. As far as I know once you leave there will be multiple factions and storylines that you can choose from, the Enclave is there, however they are enemies, and of course the NCR is there. I don't know much more information on factions within it, but it shouldnt be that hard for you to research it.
Anyhow, now that you know the basics of New California I wanted to know what everyone thought about it, especially since it is coming out this year, and has been in development for 4+ years. Personally I am extremely hyped for it, as NCR is my favourite faction and I love mods based around them whether it is an armour mod, to just a simple NPC mod, I love them. I also cant wait for the frontier as that seems like the best mod ever made for a bethesda game. Anyway, feel free to post below your thoughts on the mod. If I might have explained the mod wrong, then I will provide links to the wiki and information with it.

| Last time I checked, it was a Fallout 3 mod too. So yeah, it's a NV and 3 mod.
I haven't been playing much TTW recently so I started a fresh install of New Vegas which I plan to install this mod. I've heard much news about it recently and the last time I played it was months ago for my second time when it was still Project Brazil, but never got to finishing that either.
I might start playing the mod again but I've just been playing other games recently. No useful discussion on the mod on my part as I've not played what they added recently, but yeah. |

| I played the first installment and it was pretty interesting and ambitious, except for the dream sequence (very muddled in my opinion). They did a great work on the role playing aspect. I just discover the new turn of the project. Have they announced a release date for the whole mod yet? Sure, I will give it a try when the mod will be achieved. |

| I played project brazil way back in the day and was blown away by its quality and level of storytelling. Really looking forward to experiencing the finished project. _________________ |

| @Prosp3ro there hasn't been a confirmed release date yet. However, they have said that they are planning to release before the end of 2017. So therefore there is only a few months of development left. |

| I believe that this is going to be a great mod and I'm glad its being finished this year! I played the first part of the mod back when it was called Brazil and I thoroughly enjoyed it very much. I really liked the vault and how everyone did their own thing and how it was a functional vault (Which is something you don't see very often in Fallout) and I liked the specific characters and the storytelling which sometimes you couldn't tell if this was a DLC made by Obsidian or a mod by a group of people, you know? I just wished that my female character could've been able to wear the really sexy vault suits that some of your female vault friends wear (At least in my game they were unique outfits) and the whole landscape (Although some parts were barren and I used console commands to go to certain locations which would've effected the way I saw areas), I believe that this is going to be a good DLC sized mod. In fact, the two biggest mods remaining are Fallout: New California and The Frontier and wouldn't it be amazing if these two dlc-sized mods came out within the same year, ya know? But while I'm more hyped for the Frontier, I'm glad this mod is coming out after years of being in development and its a sign that an era of modding is slowly but surely coming to an end in a good light. I just hope that map that you see on the modpage allows you to go anywhere from the Vault to Vault City to the Boneyard, etc. If it really is named New California, allow us to explore New California, ya know? And while I played the mod back when it was Part 1, I actually thought you could go to the Hub. I just hope this time, we can go. _________________ " Life is a beautiful and awesome process, awe-inspiring exchange of living things working together or against each other for each their own purposes." -Me, Matthew. |

| I cannot wait for it, i've been playing Project Brazil for a while and honestly i think the name change is perfect, New California not to mention it'll add to the players already bad ass backstory and list of accomplishments. but mostly i'm looking forward to a couple hours of brand new content yet unexplored by myself, and an entirely new map, story, npcs, armors, factions, weapons, robots and what not never hurts _________________ Banner and Avatar made by Star, AKA: Wergon - '' Star's Workshop'' “If you can't blow them away with your brilliance, Baffle them with your bullshit.” |

| They've been working on this mod for four years. My thoughts are the same as they were two years ago, "When do I get to play it?"
Part one was great enough by itself, I'm looking forward to playing it again with all the updates to it. _________________ |

| Ever since I played the Project Brazil beta years ago, I have been interested in it. I remember how disappointed I was when they said it was potentially cancelled. This project has been through a lot and seeing it go from an almost dead project to this state in progress, frankly is amazing. I can't wait to play it. _________________ "I am not existing, nor am I lifeless." |

| I am very proud that they were able to get it all done for a stable release. I can't wait to play it! The assets they made to bring New Cali to life is amazing. From what I read, this is not gonna be like regular Fallout where it is extremely open world with lots of stuff to do. They're making it a little more linear and main story orientated. That is alright with me. I am just happy that a modding team with a big project actually came through with completing it for release. The project lead also talked about how this project is very important to him and is a big labor of love for Fallout and RPGs in general. So I am extra happy for him fulfilling his dreams of completing this mod! _________________ Flickr | STEAM | NEXUS <--- Where you can connect with me |
