| For a long time I used to play on very hard difficulty. But then I noticed that such a difficulty creates a very unbalanced game: in summary, NPC are a lot better than the player, they do more damage and have more health. Of course, such an inequal treatment has counterbalanced for a time the amazingly stupid NPC behaviour in combat situation. Now we have some efficient mods which make the AI a little more realistic and dangerous, like Combat Enhancer by wastedisposal or Enhanced NPC Awareness by xQd. Moreover, rebalance mods are numerous. Personally, I use JSawyer Ultimate Edition. I choose a x2 damage multiplier and the intended health formula (from the original JSawyer mod) which has 50 HP as a base. If we consider all this improvements concerning AI behaviour and harsh combat features, it appears that the normal difficulty might be the best choice for an optimal game experience. Tell me what you think. |

| Very easy difficulty, because i love a scenario about the shot in the head, DLC's, full-scale war of NCR and Legion. But it intresting with mods, and especially with Project Nevada. _________________ - My Achievments:

| Very Hard.
I learned how to manipulate the enemy ai even if I install a mod that improves their tactics. They are really easy to kill since the Mojave is damn flat and wide. My tip, go get the Ratslayer and when you get to Camp Mccaran, get the Sniper Rifle and use the two weapons in tandem. Make sure you have enough luck and wearing light armor with crit bonus perks and I assure you, its like playing Very Easy. It gets easier with BLEED and Project Nevada. The game simply requires a bit of planning on how youre gonna attack the enemy and once you get the hang of it, even Deathclaws will fear your name. |

| I almost always play on Very Hard, but I turn it down in some parts. The only parts I turn it down are the parts where the devs didn't balance it out very well. Sometimes you run into an area that isn't really a "hard place", but they supplemented actual difficulty with a shit load of high level enemies. For example, Lonesome Road is full of parts that you have to fight way too many Marked Men and if you're on VH, they can easily over power you. I only lower the difficulty on these parts. |

| Very Hard with combat enhancement mods such as Unforgiving Combat & Realistic Battle/Dynamic Combat supplemented with Hardcore Mode. It's hair-pullingly frustrating sometimes (see: Lonesome Road) but still fun. _________________ |

| I play on normal. I use a damage modifier mods that makes the game very very challenging by making a 10mm, 9mm, varmint rifle or single shotgun really deadly. And those are all used by low level powder gangers and the start of the game. So by the time I am facing against fiends or enemies with rifles or mgs, it is very deadly. I try to keep the difficulty in the realm of fun but the damage in reality. Like a small caliber pistol or rifle may have some trouble punching through power armor in NV because they aren't like the walking tanks in FO4. I guess being an "immune to bullets tank assassin super mailman" really is not my thing, but its fun to be OP with a minigun some times _________________ swiggitty swooty I'm coming for that booty -George Washington |

| I generally always play on Normal, whether I'm doing a modded playthrough or a vanilla playthrough. I like a challenge, but I generally like to play Fallout in a leisurely fashion. _________________ "You know what, Trigger? Why don't you lead and I'll follow." |

I wonder if such a playstyle is still possible in conjunction with JSUE + Unforgiving Combat (RWD and Bleed Edition) + Ultimate Illness... One bullet and you're dead! |

That could be fun to try out, thanks for the suggestion _________________ "Fire washes the skin off the bone and the sin off the soul. It cleans away the dirt. And my momma didn't raise herself no dirty boy."

| I always play on very easy - I prefer to wear the armors with far less protection, e.g. leather armor, but if i'm using it at a higher level I get my ass handed to me
That and I prefer enjoying the story of playing a tough courier who survived a shot to the head, not a courier that can't handle a fight against a few Cazadors _________________ - My YouTube - |

| Very Hard with Harcore mode on. Always. I just enjoy it that way, plus, Melee build is good with the sword from Monster Wars that is near the Yangtze memorial. |

| I used to regularly play Very Hard, but as I looked for damage multiplier mods, I just couldn't find one for me, then looked at the multipliers on the difficulty and stuck with Hard since it feels the most proper to me.
@"Lucianhector" If you don't mind, I could definitely recommend Invisible Armored Vests. Like yourself, there are a number of outfits I enjoy as well that don't exactly have Power Armor-level of defense, having this remedies that, especially with Power Armor Overhaul to affect the stat bonuses, which can effectively allow you to play on higher difficulties without the risk of being out there feeling absurdly fragile. _________________ |

| I play normal, I play always to have fun and don't usually look for a challenge, although I don't find it fun wiping out nearly braindead ai, now that I think about it that probably sounds conflicting/ confusing, meh no point changing it now _________________ By Star~ |

| On TTW, I've been playing it on normal and Hardcore. Since it's TTW, I started in the Capital Wasteland and I found something very interesting... you'll get your ass handed to you if you're not careful. Since survival in F4, I've gotta play it as hard as can be. _________________ "Time and tide waits for no man" - Geoffrey Chaucer
