The other day, I saw a screenshot on The Fallout Screenshot XI thread in which aarius posted a screenshot of the Modular Military Backpack from F4 CC into his game. His character was wearing it. He told me FNV has a Creation Club beta and he's a part of it. Is it true? I tried to ask him how to get into the beta but he never responded?

The only reason I ask is because I asked him if it was his own creation and if I could use it in my own game and he gave me this answer. I mean, he could've said no instead but I wanted to make sure I was just A. overreacting B. he truly is part of something. or C. maybe I'm being bullsh*tted ya know?

Can anybody let me know? I thought it was only for Skyrim and Fallout 4 along with future titles?

I really want/wanted that backpack in my game. Ya know?

Yes, but you need to belong to a special group of privileged users who got codes. I got mine about 2 weeks before the CC club appearing on FO4 steam page. Not sure if they still give NV codes.

I don't understand. Does this mean that they'll update the game and all our mods will stop working?

Also I'm looking everywhere and the creation club is specific to Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Are you guys BSing me? I don't wanna be rude but I'm not seeing anything on the internet and I'm pretty sure bethesda can't do anything as this is an Obsidian game. Plus, wouldn't they announce it? What the hell?

Bethesda published it, and they still own the Fallout series. Obsidian only made the game under a license from Bethesda, so they can definitely make a Creation Club for the game. It's pretty quiet at the moment though, everyone is too focused on Fallout 4 and Skyrim and Bethesda hasn't said much about it since it's still early on in development.

This can't be real - I'm saying that figuratively; of course it could be real, but it just sounds so much like the stuff of urban legends that I can't even. It would genuinely surprise me if Bethesda ever did anything with NV ever again...

Yeah, Aarius and a few others have been invited to it, as stated above. New Vegas is being remastered by Bethesda on the Fallout 4 engine, and there will be a creation club for it. I believe they're targeting a release in late 2018.

This is probably there only chance to win back the community, if they fuck it up, there going to get severe backlash. I would buy it, as long as the DLCs aren't overpriced, and if there is the choice of playing after the end of the game, the quests are fun.

Yeah, a handful of the prominent NV modders (including yours truly) got approached by Bethesda in early 2017 about doing something for FNV.

Bethesda hasn't given an official release date or statement on the matter, but they said we're allowed to talk about, we just can't disclose any confidential information.

This is not, like, fake news, right? Nah, I don't suppose that'd fly around these here parts, so...holy $#!T, I absolutely had no idea this was even a thing. Congrats to the guys selected to take part in the process, that's pretty cool; I hope there's a way you can push for a royalty system in lieu of surrendering ownership of your mods - much easier said than done, I know, but public opinion is strongly on your side.

whoahh?! whoah & whoah is this...real?! or true?! wait am I supposed to say?! but New Vegas Creation Club? for old games like that? can't believe it myself but..man oh man, my high blood pressure can't take this. but yeah, if that true if New Vegas being remaster by Bethesda using new Creation Engine well, that's only my corcern for now. don;t what will happen to the fanbase later on.

This seems pretty cool. The improved gun-play of Fallout 4 and the excellent story of New Vegas? I'm all in. I hope they don't scrap the old holster and repair systems, and I hope that no content (such as cut content from the original game) is put out on the creation club behind a paywall.
EDIT: This could also mean that the game has a possibility of coming out on a platform such as the switch! I need to stop speculating or I'll explode!
