| I am currently using the new Submersible Power Armor redux by Sovereign Walrus Redux Bioshock Pa
For reasons unknown when I equip the minigun the headlamps no longer work properly I am not sure why this is happening but it is. Once I unequip the minigun turn the light off and then on again they work just fine.
Has anyone ever encountered this issue before with any custom power armor mods? |

| I have never had that issue with any custom power armor in Fallout 4. And I have tried a few like the Tank power armor for example. Have you tested it with other weapons . Does the gatling laser do the same thing? Or maybe the rocket launcher or fatman? I would suggest going to the mod page and reporting it in the bug section. The mod was posted on the 18th so I am sure that there might be a bug or two after launch. I am sure that a quick description of the bug and some potential causes will allow the mod author to work out the problem. | I'm not sure why you posted in my thread I have nothing to do with special access to the mods.
Back on topic I've tried the gatling laser, fatman, flamer & missle launcher. All work fine for some reason its only the minigun that does it. It's the same way for the tank power armor you mentioned. Sovereign walrus the creator of the Submersible redux pa thinks its because the light is attached to the chest & some reason the minigun effects this.
Even the institute pa bu m150 uses the chest & helm as 1 piece. So far if the helm & torso are 1 piece. If you equip the minigun the light will not show in 3rd person & will only be white in 1st person. Also in 3rd person the light is at the bottom of the right foot. |

| @Xehonort I have never experienced that before. I was thinking that the minigun has spinning barrels and might need some special code or lighting in order to give off the desired effect, but the Gatling laser has one too, so that wasn't the issue. It could be a problem with the vanilla light on the power armor, if the big daddy armor uses the same light of course. What you should do is try a flashlight replacer mod. Something that uses a totally different kind of light. I use the Pip-boy flashlight (yes it does change power armor too) and maybe that is why I could not replicate the but in my game. Any other flashlight mods could effect it but I doubt it. Here is the link: LINK!! - Spoiler:

| @Xehonort Did you have the original Submersible? I know EdibleGrenade fixed his esp because of a headlamp issue with the old one. |

| Yep I was the one to discover the issue. As I kept the old one running as well. The bright for the redux used the same node as the bouncer red. Also the redux red used the same node as the alpha bright.
What was weird tho is he didn't have that issue.
Thanks for the link. I used to use tatical light mod. Only difference I can see between the minigun and gatling laser is that the minigun's barrel "heats/lights up" while the gatling laser doesn't. |
