| Hey everyone, the name is GoofyGoo6er (pronounced Goofygoober). I am an inner-city middle school music teacher living in Northern New Jersey (the Oranges) in my late 20's. I originally grew up on a farm in Upstate NY, so gaming was very difficult back then. The very first PC game I played was the original Fallout on it's release....and boy was it terrifying. I joined the Gunetwork a while ago, but now that I am finally done moving and can be more active, I thought this would be a good time for introductions! I am really excited to make some friends that share the same passion of Fallout, video games, and other things of that nature. Haven't really had any friends that 'got' my love for Fallout and video games. I am hoping one day that I will not only have a great network of people to connect and chat with, but I would LOVE to be able to create my own mods one day (always been too afraid to do it)! | It's definitely nice to establish one's self in a place of mutual passions, and it's certainly not every day we get to exactly meet people (online or irl) with the same kind of tastes in music, games, etc. I too have only just begun to get more involved in the community, and am absolutely enjoying it for the things I get to share here that I couldn't without being "just that one guy" among my friends on Skype. My students know ALL ABOUT my obsession with Fallout. Why? In my office there is a NCR flag, and my water bottle is the Nuke Cola Metal Water Bottle. I walked into summer school today with my Fallout shirt on (which was a gift from them!!!!)! lol |
