| Subject: Breeze body HD version? Sun Mar 16, 2014 11:01 am | |
| Iv'e been looking for a while, but had no apparent luck in finding and HD retexture for the breeze body mod for new vegas. It always bothered me how pixelated it looked in certain angles and lighting. And so I ask, does anyone know of a retexture for it? I really don't want to use robert's male body because it seems unrealistic for me. _________________ "καὶ τὸ φῶς ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ φαίνει καὶ ἡ σκοτία αὐτὸ οὐ κατέλαβεν" -And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not

| What's unrealistic about the Robert's body ? It looks fine. High-poly, and with good textures. _________________ |

You know I'd use Roberts if I knew anything about UV mapping, that way I'd fix up the UV maps for every armor or for the body itself (I don't know which one is causing the problem). Tried to do it with Nifskope but it didn't go so well, tried Blender, I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Blender is a little complex for me. If someone had any tutorials on it I would use it more frequently, but the truth is that I'm a programmer not a modeler. |

| I remember seeing a Dragbody video ages ago where he sort of demonstrated in the background, while doing something else, of how to "move" the mapping on an outfit mesh to move it from the vanilla spot to the Breeze part of the texture. _________________ |

| I don't use any body replacers, but hey, Upload the default Breeze texture and I'll mess around with it, see what i can come up with. _________________ Grudge rhymes with fudge.

Robert's body does have attention to detail but the general shape of the body is too idealistic and too "rounded". For me the body seems to be in the shape of those cheap superhero costumes like these ones: another thing I consider is mod compatibility since most mods are made for breeze. _________________ "καὶ τὸ φῶς ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ φαίνει καὶ ἡ σκοτία αὐτὸ οὐ κατέλαβεν" -And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not

Breeze could be found on the nexus. It should be relatively easy for you to find. Thanks man. _________________ "καὶ τὸ φῶς ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ φαίνει καὶ ἡ σκοτία αὐτὸ οὐ κατέλαβεν" -And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not

another thing I consider is mod compatibility since most mods are made for breeze. Are you using the default version or.. ? I personally prefer default. It's well-built, but not overly-muscular for me. I don't know if I'd say it's rounded. A lot of people complain about it's shoulders, but I think they're like that 'cause of NV's skeleton. |

| Default.
Yes. The shoulders really bother me.And there is also that issue with neck seam. _________________ "καὶ τὸ φῶς ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ φαίνει καὶ ἡ σκοτία αὐτὸ οὐ κατέλαβεν" -And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not
