Subject: FNV Simpsons Yellow Skin? Tue Mar 28, 2017 11:33 am
Hi,
hm, I was wondering whether someone here could help me by shedding some light onto an issue I am having. For some reason, whenever I am outside and the weather is sunny, my character turns completely yellow! Like a simpsons hue yellow! I tried disabling Nevada Skies, but that had no effect. I am using the following mod for my characters race:
Curious enough, this does not happen when I am indoors. Only outside and only during a very nice day. Notice the difference between Veronicas pale face and my characters Principal Seymour yellow :/

That is so weird, the whole scene in the screenshots is totally yellow. Are you sure it's not just your characters skin tone? A picture of indoors comparison will be helpful.

There is no bugs. It's how vanilla and standart breeze male body looks. If you want to change this you should uses roberts male body or high texture resolution breeze body by dragbody. Also you may try Fallout Character Overhaul 3.01 and try to change lighting mod to different one or enb.
@nukacide I will post some indoor screenshots for comparison. Also, the skin tone for my character changes only his head/face, the rest of the body remains with the same yellow hue and if I adjust the skin tone, there is a visible line around the neck where you can see the different skin tones on head and body
@gentledamnspy I am using the HD texture breeze body by dragbody, this is what it looks like in my game! Also, I am using FCO 2.3 because that is the only one that is compatible with New Vegas Redesigned 3 and Drags NCR overhaul :/
It also seems like my character is the only one who turns so yellow, NPCs are fine
EDIT: here is the indoor screenshot:

Don't use breeze get roberts, I recently switched and it was the best decision I've made. Breeze is low res body replacer, haven't had any problems at all with roberts, see if it makes a difference. Maybe reinstall FCO as well and let LOOT sort ur load order.

@Nukacide Roberts body dosen't support Dragbody mods, i would like to use them more that Breeze but here is no choise. If you use Roberts with Drag NCR Ultimate Overhaul you will get texture bugs and glitches as reporting some users.
@khatmar Then if the problem not in body i'm sure Nevada Skies custom lighting cause this problem. You should try another lighting mod (It's good that there are a lot of them available), enb with custom lighting (like 47's ENB: The Sequel). I personally use URWLNV Ultimate Edition v2.0. Good luck to you with solving this issue.
Hm, alright so, I uninstalled Nevada Skies, switched out Breeze for Roberts, reinstalled NWR3 and Drags NCR overhaul - noticed no bugs so far; and installed Realistic Wasteland Lighting.
This is what I have:
admittedly the Realistic Lighting removes the yellow color scheme from everything and it is nicer, however, my character is still kinds Simpsonish... I will try to fiddle with the skin tones later. I got my day off from work today and want to finish the postapo Mad Max spurs for my boots first

Your character doesn't look like a Simpson or have particularly "yellow skin", but if you want your character to look slightly paler I recommend Custom Lighting Overlay or any ENB preset with a cool colour palette.
Well, to close this, I have solved the issue. Realistic Wasteland Lighting and Brightness/Gamma calibration in my OS have made a considerable difference. The yellow tint is completely gone from the game and all the colours actually look much better!
So, thank you all for your help On a side-note, completely uninstalling Nevada Skies have boosted my performance in about 30% and have pretty much eliminated the crashes I was having
@"Nukacide" I ll post the finished spurs tomorrow, I am to tired right now to go the garage suffice to say, they look pretty much like in here/although I realize they are kinda hard to see in the picture
