hello' let's start of by saying that i'm stupid when it come to modding now i know how to use the nexus and i'm learning to use the FOMM but for some odd reason i can't seem to get any of the mods to work that i have to download manually i follow the inscriptions and directions but it never fells that it doesn't work. so in laymen terms please help me understand this better beause i'm simple minded LOL

OK i'm trying to install tales of two wastelands but each time i try it the installer works fine but i can't seem to get it to go and work in the game i get all kinds of error messages and then i have to uninstall it and start over then it does the same thing also I've tried out the mod called drag's Armour magapack and it worked some the base was there but the people in the base were invisible then when i got the Armour from the safe and put it on all i could see was my head nothing else. so please help me get tales of two wastelands to work what do i need to do to get it right and work for my game i do have fonv and fogoty and all DLC for each of them but like i said before i'm stupid when it comes to modding so please try to keep it as simple as possible. and thanks for your help and understanding

Hey @SkyrimKing78! Before you start modding I recommend you get LOOT to manage your mod load order (helps prevent conflicting mods and crashing) and FNVedit to merge any mods that may conflict with eachother.

i have LOOT and i know how to use it but i don't have FNVedit: and i don't understand how to use it and watching youtube videos don't help. all i would like to know what is the right way to get tales of two wastelands to work for me step by step please

Ok here's a few things I'd recommend.

Try using a Mod Manager (NMM or MO) as FOMM is outdated imo.
There's actually a guide on making tweaks to your ini files and what not over on the step forums.
Make sure that your archive invalidation is on.

The guys back at the TTW site itself said that its recommended that you use their suggested FOMM when installing TTW. So my best bet is you go with that first.

Another thing, when you get the TTW installer, you don't put that installer into FOMM, you need to use THAT installer in order to merge FO3 and FNV into one because the MERGED FILE that you will get from it is the one you're gonna INSTALL USING FOMM. And please CHANGE THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY for the file. Put the merged file some place else other than your FNV/FO3 folder; put it in your Drive D or just your desktop really.

Sorry if I sound like Im shouting, i made some words on all caps so that its easier to see and take notice. And don't worry man, you'll be able to install it. BTW, you sure you want to use TTW now because the latest update is almost here.
