| I hope it's the right section, otherwise sorry and move to the proper one.
After I don't even know how long, I decided to reinstall FO3 and play it instead of messing around with TTW and F3FNV as I failed miserably with both of them getting to work properly. FO3 has a better map, imho, but FNV has a better gameplay which is almost the same, but tweaked/better than his big brother. Are there any mods that make FO3 more "similar" to FNV in terms of pure gameplay? I only know about the ironsight mod which is a good start, but not enough.. _________________ Once a N7, always a N7. This. I'm not sure if you actually played with it before but honestly, I would trade NV mechanics, hardcore mode and Project Nevada together for a FWE alone. |

| Weapon Mod Kits from Antistar is the soul reason we got weapon modification in new vegas practically another mod would have to be EVE and FWE. To be honest their aren't that many mods that I can think of other than those that make FO3 feel like NV. I'm floored considering how big the Fallout community is and the lack of some mods you'd think would exist but don't.

| It's pretty difficult to re-create FNV gameplay into FO3 since FNV is newer and has new mechanics. I would give TTW another try since it's much easier with the installer compared to F3FNV. All the mods here have already been suggested and I do recommend FWE since it's similar to Project Nevada. _________________ Be My Friend! Earn ACHIEVEMENTS! |

Keep in mind a lot of mods have been removed from the Nexus/other mod sites or due to the authors moving on to other games and shutting down their personal websites for FO3. I can think of at least a dozen mods that were 'must haves' for FO3 that are now gone forever. Which is a damn shame, to be perfectly honest. If you can get these mods to work together... FOOK2: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/4448/? Marts Mutant Mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/3211/? WMK: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/3388/? ...using these patches... http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/4968/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout3%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D4968%26preview%3D&pUp=1 ...and DarnUI for FO3: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1085562-wipzbeta-darnified-ui-f3/?p=15822639&fromsearch=1#entry15822639 ...you're about as close to FNV as you can get with FO3. Like Undeadsewer pointed out, trying to install TTW again is your best option...it's easier and FNV is much more stable to add mods to. | I have to agree with Noodles and Undead unfortunately, downloading any mod that adds Fallout 3 to New Vegas is your entire best bet you can have both in one gameplay. It's not hard to install TTW, you just need to follow some issues you're having and pay attention to the instructions.
I've just installed TTW albeit a few problems at the beginning but I've managed to solve them by finding the right topics in the website. |

| Problem is that I can't get to work any of the two. F3FNV just has a lot of problems due to still being in alpha stage (I personally don't have any voiced dialog and giant red triangles of doom everywhere alongside broken quests and huge terrain holes in many locations, both interiors and exteriors) and TTW simply refuses to install after 4+ hours of preparations cause it thinks my game is illegal (Retail copy) when it's not.
So I gave up on both and decided to play the original without messing up FNV again after so many attempts of having a stable game with no crashes and loss of progresses with a heavy modded data folder. _________________ Once a N7, always a N7. Life is about passions, thank you for sharing mine.
