Everyone has at least that one instance or moment that they experienced in a Fallout game that stuck with them, whether it be being blown away by a story element or having something cool happen to you game play wise, we all have at least one memory like that.

Personally, I remember loving how bad ass it was taking down the entire legion fort with Boone in my original FNV play through.

The best memory I have from Fallout 3 is when I managed to complete most of the quests and gather all unique items from every DLC. I had displayed spoils of my adventures all around my Megaton house... I took the time to observe every item and I remember how and when I got it... After I finished my tour, I got out of the house, saved my game and switched my console off... I had a strange feeling of satisfaction at that exact moment.

The fondest memory I have about New Vegas is the night I completed the game for the NCR for the first time. I was during the 31st December night of 2013 if I recall correctly. I was so proud of seeing all the good I brought to the wasteland and its inhabitants XD ! I was kinda sad for Goodsprings though.

The strongest memory I have about Fallout in general was the first time I completed Fallout 3... When I heard the line " War never changes " for the first time, with the sad ending music and the graves from Arlington as a background image... It send chills down my spine o_o

New vegas bounties 3 ... the final fight with marco ... i will never forget that moment when i point the sweet revenge at him and AVENGE RANDAL
And of course the better angels mods ending provided closure to everything. But the moment with Marco was burned into my soul and i shall never forget it.
Yeah i probably have more than these but i gotta admit that one is the thing that sticks out.

I'll say a couple as it's difficult for me to decide.

Completing Fallout for the first time,
Spoiler:

Finding Christine's sniper rifle in Old World Blues. I don't know why. There was just something very cool and elating about it.

Driving the Highwayman in Fallout 2 for the first time.

Oh and blowing Caesar's head off in one hit from the tent entrance, then immediately running for it as ten Praetorians came chasing after us.

Absolutely that whole mod really blew me away. I had my brother play through all the new vegas bounty mods (and he wasnt enjoying it) until he got about 20 minutes into the first one, from then on he was so enveloped into the story and the whispers of Marko that by the time new vegas bounties 3 rolled around he had it installed before I did. He and I both agree that there were some cough particular moments in that mod that had more emotional impact than any of the DLC and base game quests.

I'd have to say Ron Perlman's narration. It's a shame he had such a small part in Fallout 4 but him saying that bitter sweet line will always be in my memory.

Oh I know I was really disappointed he was in the game for under a minute in Fallout 4. I didn't even realize it was him until like a month after the games release.

Starting my Fallout journey with Fallout 3, everything the world had presented to me came in as a shock. The most memorable event, however, would be my first encounter with NPC wearing power armour. While I don't remember where I was, I was in a bind with a large gang of raiders. In the midst of hiding behind a giant rock, some Brotherhood Outcasts and a robot were patrolling, spotted the raiders hunting me down, and absolutely annihilated them. I didn't realize that they were neutral and thought that they were another raider gang. Out of fear and desperation, I just shot at them. It wasn't until I died and reloaded my save that I realized that they were friendly. Skeptic

From Fallout 1:
The trepidation and anxiety from entering the first vault, realizing I needed a rope to descent down the elevator shaft and actually against all odds having one on me that I found (or possibly stole) in Shady Sands. When I came to the last level and realized there was no water chip to be had, it filled me with a weird mixture of disappointment and optimism. In my child mind I had actually expected to find it and that the game would be over, instead I realized it would probably take a lot, lot longer to finish than I had thought. When I DID eventually find the chip it was like a choir of angels lifted me up to a higher state of being, only to be told by Overseer Jacoren that I'd have to go kill the master and source of the mutants. That was a blow to the giblets of unrivalled proportions.

From Fallout 2:
Arriving in New Reno was mindblowing, and I will never, ever forget Jagged Jimmy J who gave me the scoop on town. But the best part, the very best, was finding Pretty Boy Lloyd for Salvatore and taking him into the desert. I remember my character standing there with a shotgun, while Lloyd pointed out the grave in which he had hidden the money he stole. He asked me to help him dig it up, and I responded, "You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, Lloyd: those with loaded guns ... and those who dig. ... You dig."
A moment later he dug up the mine he had planted for would-be treasure hunters and I felt like a king for having suspected something like that.

Another brilliant moment was interacting with one of Wright family kids and having the option to give him a loaded gun. Promptly making him run to his father to play trader and raiders and shooting him dead. I genuinely felt bad about it, and I don't think there's been any Fallout games with a similarly morally outrageous choice to date.

From Fallout Tactics:
Getting to the ending was very rewarding, I loved the outtro. It's a shame most people haven't seen it.

Sad to say, nothing really stood out for me in Fallout 3. I mostly remember the disappointment of being forced into the reactor chamber to activate the purifier while Fawkes and Charon gloated at me. I've tried to reinstall the game but it runs so horribly poorly and crashes so much that it's more a chore than fun to play.

Benny was my fondest memory from New Vegas, as an antagonist he was great. However I did feel cheated that he managed to run away from what was meant to be our big showdown at the casino and ended up with Caesar. That was a lot more anticlimatic than it could have been. The main story also felt kind of convoluted, though meeting Mr. House personally was very interesting. New Vegas itself was the disappointment of a lifetime considering how much it was hyped up by every character in the game up until that point. It had less to do than New Reno and felt small, cramped and honestly quite bland and boring.

Years ago I asked some of my friends for a good game I should play and they all recommended Fallout 3. So I played it and absolutely loved it. My favourite moment was leaving vault 101 for the first time and being able to walk pretty much anywhere I liked and do whatever I liked. It was an amazing feeling

Fondest memory? Well that would be in Fallout 4.

This happened to me after the Brotherhood of Steel's arrival.

Imagine yourself traveling through the Commonwealth in a Minutemen outfit and armed with nothing else but a laser musket with 60 fusion cells remaining and a flare gun. When all of a sudden you hear the infamous yells of a super mutant, turn to your right and a group of them comes charging at you with weapons far superior. Laser musket won't do any harm to them at my level, only harming them by a mere margin. Switched to flare gun and fired it into the sky - praying that whatever Preston said was right.

Hid behind a tree and tried to buy myself some time by shooting at what mutants I could, managed to kill 2 of the hounds before I heard the familiar sounds of a vertibird. Glanced upwards and what do I see, 2 Brotherhood Knights jumping down and attacking the mutants in full glory of their miniguns. Then, I heard the laser muskets being fired from the side, turned and saw 3 Minutemen running forward. Mutants were cornered and shot to scraps.

Best combined attack ever.

My favorite would have to be the first time I came from the metro tunnels in Fallout 3. Having Brotherhood soldiers by your side and killing super mutants was awesome. That behemoth boss battle to end it all cemented it as a memorable scene.
