| By now, most of my time is either to creating my own mods, or experimenting other people's work for my own playthroughs. _________________ “We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.” - Alan Turning

| I would love to do modding, but it seems to be very time consuming. I also do not play too much because life's responsibilities are more important .... (you know it all). So I prefer to try mods and make the game time as intense as possible. _________________ |

| Yeah... 271 hours compared to at least 600 hours porting, putting stuff together in the CK, or animating. Damn shame. _________________ |

| To answer my own question, I'm probably in the "Tweaking mods others have made to suit your game." section. Why? Because of this screenshot of course: - Spoiler:
Everything on my character here is tweaked to some degree. The armor is from the Elite Riot Armor from Improved Ranger Coats, with textures from ADAM's armor pack that I edited myself (See the broken visor and the camo pattern on the breastplate), and a hood I ripped from one of dragbody's armors and retextured myself. The Spas-12 is from Aarius's Mojave Terror pack, I shortened the barrel, took off the stock and added a choke myself to fit the model to my needs. I've used many other models in the same pack as replacers for vanilla weapons such as the Service Rifle(M16), the Marksman and Assault Carbines(HK416 & M4), the Light Machine Gun(M249) and the Gauss Rifle(Rorsch Railgun from BF4), to mention a few. Editing and messing around with mods is something I enjoy thoroughly. It really makes it MY game. |

| i have just about 1000 hours on new vegas and about 800 of those hours was just me testing new mods in doc Mitchells house i could only use nifskope back then but id spend hours in his house testing random mashups i would put together using mainly drags packs ,
for fallout 4 for example i played about 8 hours the past month and the rest making mask and armor mashups when i had the time playing fallout is addictive but modding even in the slightest (to me anyway) is a whole lot more addictive lol |
