| Frustration, and ragequitted a lot. Maintaining food and water were more annoyances than challenges because you would get hungry/dehydrated so often. You also couldn't carry as much as you wanted - so you had "play more effectively" or go haul your loot from 1 location to the other. Plus One shotting enemies! It was spooky at first but then it got annoying dying to the same thing over and over.
I wish New Vegas had Fallout4's survival mode though (the new one), way more mechanics that felt like an actual threat when you play (besides the bed save only mechanic - fuck that)
With Directors cut (JSawyers mod), Enemy AI overhaul, and other stuff - it seems impossible to do now. (Though I will try) _________________ |

| I think vanilla fnv is not that hard of a game. The only time it made me rage quit was when trying to get to Nellis Air Force. Other than that maybe the final Legion boss was a bit hard but everything else was pretty normal difficulty. |

| Hell on Earth, but a hell I enjoyed nonetheless. My only gripe with hardcore is the fact ammo takes up so much weight; but I suppose it makes things interesting. Ammo isn't exactly weightless IRL, so...

| I never use to play on Hardcore mode until I became virtuallt unkillable. Wanting a challenge, I began plating hardcore mode and found my fighting tactics changr drastically. Instead of running in gun-ho as a bullet sponge, I actually began to use combat tactics in hardcore mode, ehich rrally made my walkthroughs more immersive. _________________ "Ante up."

| It was hard? I thought it was fun It was a bit challenging, but not something I rage quitted on. I took the sniper route and killed a lot of folks with my Varmint Rifle fully modded for the first 1/4 of the game. I only changed it to a suppressed sniper rifle when I got to Camp Mccaran. I always found water and food all around so it wasnt that much of a deal. The only games that made me RQ are Demon Souls and Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin. |
