Too often it will be that I will sit and stare
Into a mirror and just look, trying know what I feel
Without feeling it. I will sit there and think
“What am I now at this moment, do you know?”
I will speak to myself in the mirror.
“Well, I suppose that we will just have to watch.
You know, I hate this cycle, so you would think
I would be frustrated, but it is always something
Different in my eyes.” I sit down and look and think
“And Now we search”
“And now we wait.”

I will look into the sky, sometimes
When it is grey and cold, or when the sun is setting
And the oncoming dark blue night
Clashes with a fading orange And I will think “how beautiful,
This calm, coolness.” And as I stare
Out I will see myself, as dreary colors spark
A passion for something different
And when the sun rises again
I will sit down and think
“And now we search”
“And now we wait”

Occasionally I will see a bird
Taking flight and to speed through the air.
In my land the wind is strong,
So they fight against the current,
And they make it! They fly against the galing winds
They soar into the sky! Such strength,
Such determination, I suppose it is needed
For such creatures. Perhaps it is needed for me, too,
Such strength, such determination.
Perhaps I will find it, for now, I will look for it.
I will sit in those galing winds, for now, unmoving.
I will sit down and think
“And now we search”
“And now we wait”

I was working on a chapter two to one of my stories but I got distracted and wanted to finish this poem instead. Hope Y'all like it.
