| No. I didn't like them in 2 and they became a joke in 3 being defeating 3 times. |

| I prefer the Fallout 2 enclave to 3, something about the advanced power armour and lets not forget about Frank Horrigan. _________________ |

| I loved the Enclave! I didn't approve of their actions but I enjoyed crushing them over and over again. Their armour was the definition of epic and they were awesome in 2 and 3.
I'd like remnants to be able to fight as enemies in the next game or whatever, but I'm not sure how I feel about them being a main faction again. I don't want them to become overdone as they are a great faction. |

| I think that the Enclave should make a bigger appearance in future Fallout titles, but I think there role in New Vegas and Fallout 4 was for the best. As the Enclave were in Fallout 2, then 3. Having a bigger role in NV and 4 would seem like the Enclave are the only enemy/friends in the wastes and that Obsidian/Bethesda cannot come up with anything original.
In the end I like the Enclave, think they are the coolest faction up their with the Brotherhood, but they need to sit out for a game or two to let fresh ideas take over Fallout to not let it be repetitive. |

| The Enclave is an extremely threatening and brilliant enemy, one of my first posts here was basically sucking FO2's dick, but listen, they've had their day. Bringing the Enclave back wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, if the outpost in Chicago was in proper working order we would have heard from them by now, killing the president was really the last straw. They shriveled up and if they aren't dead by now they are dying. I miss them too, but if you love them, let them go. _________________ Be wary, or become a lonely boy. |

| I really miss the Enclave, they were the most intimidating and scary faction in Fallout history, for fucks sake they made Frank Horrigan. _________________ You're a funny guy Sully, that's why I'm gonna kill you last. -Arnold Schwarzenegger

| Yes, but from a story perspective, there's only so many times you can go back and draw water from the same well. We know that the Enclave still have some bases and troops left out there, but to explain that they can still form a major army like we saw in Fallout 3 or 2 is a bit of a stretch considering all their losses. I personally loved the Enclave remnants in fnv, so hopefully we may see some retired troops or even a holdout faction somewhere. I'd love a quest or even dlc in Fallout 4 or a future Fallout where we discover one of the Enclave's last garrisons and have the choice of what to do with them. I like the idea of humanising them, I mean after 5 major losses, the oil rig, Navarro, the purifier, raven rock and Adams air force base, surely they realise they really can't stop progress across the Wasteland? _________________ Muwahahahahahahaha!!!What do you mean evil laugh!? | As people have already said, the Enclave have been the main villains of two Fallout games now, and personally I don't think it's healthy for the series to just re-tread old ground. Fallout New Vegas fulfilled the Fallout maxim of enemies becoming friends (while there are some evil super mutants still knocking around in Fallout 2, Marcus and other super mutants can be your allies). I liked that the Enclave remnants were no longer just another villain to shoot. They were old veterans who had moved on with their lives (with only one of them really thirsting for the old "glory" days)
I think the Enclave can always have a presence in the series. There would still be Enclave outposts and such scattered around America, but I don't think they should be the "Muhahaha we're killing all mutants again!" villains. Like the remnants, they need to have moved on in some form, either started their own communities (which could very easily be evil in their own right) or just integrated into regular society.
Personally my favourite enclave presence in New Vegas was ED-E. There were hints of Enclave scientists further east, but not too many that they enveloped the story. ED-E was just a robot sent off to give information to a military bunker that no longer existed. And if anything you could argue that the Enclave's last great moment of triumph was the Divide, when an Enclave eyebot detonated the ICBMs. _________________ "It's 106 miles to Arroyo, we've got a full fusion cell, half a pack of RadAway, it's midnight, and I'm wearing a 50 year old Vault 13 jumpsuit. | I remember doing a post on something like this a while back. Like a lot of people in this chat are saying the Enclave is pretty much destroyed. After suffering heavy losses and losing both most of their man power and a large amount of valuable technology the Enclave will probably never recover.
Also as many others have said they most likely exist in small numbers scattered wherever. But have probably moved on or staying hidden as the reputation is not the best.
As a final note its to bad we could notwork with the Enclave and destroy this BOS, especially after what it has become in FO4. |

That would be amazing but it would never happen since Bethesda wants their players to feel that their actions in FO3 actually meant something. The Sole Survivor is even a pure human, as he was from the pre-war era, and a veteran, so he would probably feel some loyalty to the US Government and join the Enclave, but like I said, Bethesda wants Fallout 3 to have a big impact on the story. |

| @Corvo never thought about that with him being a U.S. Army Vet. I guess Nora would join the Enclave because the Enclave is the US Government and she is a US Citizen. Though as you said with Bethesda wanting big impacting stories with all this choice. Still maybe just a Enclave companion would be great. I know there is someone from Far Harbor but that's about it. Cant really include the X-01 as X-01 Power Armor was developed on the West Coast after the Great War by the Enclave....... |

| @mreggs0925 well it would actually be very possible to have anything the west coast enclave had all over the country or even the whole continent since they actually had some of the easiest transportation in the country just short of the institute's teleportation. remember they were the first people to get vertibird technology, they almost certainly carried it over from the old world along with advanced communication technology, so plans and materials could be transferred with extreme ease. _________________ Be wary, or become a lonely boy. |

| @Screw4ff The Enclave were not located around the country according to lore. The Enclave were located on the Poseidon-Enclave Oil Rig for around 200 years. Then after the events of Fallout 1 & 2 The enclave regrouped at Enclave Military Base in Navarro. After receiving word by John Henry Eden to relocate to the Capital Wasteland the Enclave split into groups with one heading to the Capital Wasteland in their Vertibirds and the other staying at the Navarro Base until its destruction a the hands of the NCR. The other group arrived at Raven Rock and continued to live and plan until the events of Fallout 3 and its DLC. The events lead to the complete destruction of the Enclave with only small groups similar to that of Remnants of Fallout NV. It is possible that they still exist but only contain a fraction of the power they once had if even. That is the story of the Enclave summed up for you.
Also the Northern Enclave Remnants aren't canon and therefor do not exist in the Fallout world. Also the Enclave's Navy fleet (U.S. Navy Remnants who regrouped at the Oil Drilling Platform) have most likely ceased to exist as the ships would have deteriorated after 200 years of being stationary in the Ocean.
In response to Communication Tech and the Vertibirds. Both the Satellite relay station and the Mobile Base Crawler were attacked and the Enclave presence was neutralized. With that the BOS would have gained control of the Satellite relay station and the Mobile Base Crawler is destroyed no matter what option you choose. The U.S. Military built the Vertibirds before the War, though being widely used they were still in the Prototype stage. The Enclave faced the problem of this and had to conduct maintenance on the Vertibirds regularly. Though following events to Fallout 4 the majority of Enclave Vertibirds are either in the NCR's Hands or under the control of the various chapters of BOS.
If you want to read up on the History of the Enclave check out the Fallout wiki for well everything on the Enclave. |

| Loved the Enclave from Fallout 2. Superior tech to the BoS, but also have a higher sense of xenophobia for wanting to wipe out everyone on the mainland. Wish there was more of an Enclave remnant story line just like how they scattered the BoS with the BoS bunkers in different cities in Fallout 2. |
