| I was doing some research and just looking at the last past couple of fallout games and I was curious for others opinions, do you guys feel that Fallout or any future fallout games should be a multiplayer Co-op game or strictly solo Dolo? (Please Post reasons and why)

| Personally i think fallout as a whole should be a single player experience if they stick to current story type and game play. However, kinda like elder scrolls online i think it would make a good post apoc MMORPG game but it wouldn't completely be the fallout we know and love. But the opportunities do open up if it is made into an multiplayer game, and interesting mechanics like bounties on evil players would be a nice concept as well as grouping up for heists of pre-war ruins (Like jamaica plain concept in fallout 4). However i can see a lot of lore problems if it was made multiplayer as game mechanic's would need to go against lore in order to make it work.
I would like to see it however |

| Wolfclaw114" to be honest I can completely agree, I was reading other forums and people were saying that a co op experience would better the game, sometimes that would be nice but I feel that a co op experience would take away from the true lore of Fallout, and as you said the mechanics would have to be changed tremendously and I feel that they already have a apocalyptic MMORPG called wasteland but it doesn't compare to fallout in my opinion |

| A co-op experience would make the game better but it wouldn't be a fallout game. However i think the introduction of multiple players within a world would actually make it more realistic in a sense and make it more alive. In the games you are a high skilled one man army, technically a mercenary with a main goal e.g. finding son/father/enemy. Who says others cant be like that and fight with you/against you.
and with the elder scrolls, when it first game out i heard that a lot of people didnt like it, but when i came to play it, it felt like elder scrolls but from a different perspective. Seeing people exploring the world just like you made it feel alive, feel like your not the only one who has to save the day. It didnt feel like the elder scrolls im used to playing, but it kinda did feel like it as well.
Overall it could work, but it would need to very well thought out if it wanted to be successful, it has potential if done correctly. It may not be the fallout we know and love, but it could still become something great. |

| I believe a Co-Op experience would be great in Fallout but i believe a full multiplayer would hurt the game. For example look at the Co-Op campaign in Ghost-Recon: Wildlands, it handles the Co-Op perfectly. _________________ Lonestar shine down on my home town "Howdy" |

| @"eac4" the Co-op in Ghost Recon does seem like the "perfect" co-op indeed, so do you fill that fallout would have to use that or do their own eunique version of Co-op? |

So with that being said you would much rather them have something like the "Gunners" or "Talon Company Mercs" or a different type of faction and have you in a group like that and have players in that and from their you guys maybe do whatever in game but while they still are other factions and other players, you think that would work at all? |

| I agree @"justinhartley19" i believe that Fallout should have their own unique version of Co-Op but not be afraid to take from other games. |

| @"eac4" so how do you think that they should go about doing that, while keeping it within the fallout lore at the same time! |

| @"justinhartley19" i believe it could only work in a spin-off Fallout game or at least not one where YOU are the only one that can save the Wastes like every other game in the series. What i'm thinking you could be a scavenger, raider, mercenary, etc. or a soldier in a larger faction such as the B.O.S. You just cant do Co-Op if the entire wasteland relies one person to save it that being the player. _________________ Lonestar shine down on my home town "Howdy" |

| @"eac4" this is true and that sounds similar to what I was thinking you could do co-op inside of a faction , a spin off would sound like it'll work way better |

| A coop like GR Wildlands, a worldspace like that just in the fallout universe, that would be awesome =) _________________ Dies iræ, dies illa Solvet sæclum in favilla, Teste David cum Sibylla. |

| The only issue would be balancing players equipment and skills. I'd love to see something to the strain of GTA online, with coop/group missions and a bounties system. I think there is definitely potential for an a co-op game in the fallout universe but this issue lies in the fact that your character in fallout can become virtually invincible, so an effort at re-balance is needed. It's possible, as other single player rpgs going multiplayer have shown. You'd just need a dev who understands multiplayer/online games to make sure it worked properly. It would be good to have an online Fallout: Baja, as mentioned in New Vegas, it's mostly a lawless wasteland with Rangers and other NCR frontiersmen fighting "ghosts" on the NCR's southern borders. It would be the perfect setting. Lawless raider gangs, frontiersmen and settlers, Rangers... maybe even some other factions like Cartels, and to a lesser extent, the Brotherhood or Enclave remnants. It's a low priority, so the NCR would be weak enough for their to be real conflict with the local gangs and tribes. It's a somewhat established location within the lore, and one that would also allow some level of narrative freedom, being so far from any of the main plotlines. _________________ Muwahahahahahahaha!!!What do you mean evil laugh!? | I think Fallout should stay how it is. Remember how TES: Online flopped? |

| To be honest I would have no problem with a working multiplayer mod or dlc for NV, would love to play Dust with someone. _________________ You're a funny guy Sully, that's why I'm gonna kill you last. -Arnold Schwarzenegger
