Greetings, GUNners and GUNnettes!
Yet another year has passed, and as the 23rd of February marks the ending of our 3rd year on this Forumotion platform, and the beginning of our 4th, let's update you all on the
State of the Union
So grab your popcorn and pay attention:
We've done well! Things are good! We love you all! You're wonderful people!
Now for some Reputation stats! Since we've started tracking rep exchanges we've given out:
47101 Positive rep 886 Negative rep
of which the last 18 negative reps were given out to mod releases by the same moron in the span of just a few short days (we've banned him as soon as we found out)
So with all that in mind (exceptions included), it's pretty clear that we're fairly consistent and still going strong Those pricks who keep wishing that GUN would die, can choke on these stats and cry us a river
And now, onwards to the traditional list of most of our more important events over this past year:
◕ Fri 1 Apr 2016 Legendary April Fool's gag - we announced that everyone is demoted and the subforums were jumbled around to make it believable You can find the "official" announcement midway through this page Also, we featured a FO4 G.E.C.K. Download button on the side of the site which redirected to a Rick Roll video (the GECK wasn't out at that time so it was effective).
◕ Sun 3 Apr 2016 Member @tgspy has been added in group Sentinel
◕ Tue 10 May 2016 Set this image as default avatar so that every member without one should have this now. It was also attached to the side of the forums so that it appears on every page, every topic, every subforum.
◕ Wed 8 Jun 2016 To prevent situations of Revenge-Rep we've removed the Negative Rep tracker from user's personal tracking section. You can find more info midway through this page and thanks @dazzerfong for his positive idea!

Oh wow it's already 3 years. That time went by fast. Still kinda feels like it was just last year that we moved here from VGU.
But enough of the sentimental crap and on to the birthday party for GUN I just can say that you and everyone else has done an awesome job to continue the legacy of VGU and build something fresh out of it too. So congratz to that and on to many more years

Wow, looking at this opening post one can clearly see a lot of stuff that, at least for me, wasn't happening (my bad). Stuff that helps set us apart from a simple mod hub as a true community. We really are a big and active community. I'm looking forward for more integration!!! Congratz for all that help making ours one of the best gamers community on the web!!!

Happy GUNniversary to all my fellow users here! Exciting that it is our fourth year here now (for me it's the 6th? cuz of the OG VGU). My favorite gaming community and it will continue to be as long as the great people and friends I met here will continue to be here.
