| Personally my most memorable and favorite area in any of the Fallout games has to be The Mall.
I chose the mall because of the various sites like the Museum of Technology and History as it gives you a a somewhat "in-depth" look at the Fallout history from a historical standpoint leading up to the Divergence Point and from the technology developed after the Divergence Point like the Delta XI Rocket or the Valiant 11 Lunar Lander. Personally I also like the little battle between the Talon Company and Super Mutants with the trenches and artillery. Also since I enjoy seeing historical sites like the Washington Monument, it is cool to see how they have aged throughout the years.
This is my personal favorite spot in any Fallout game but what is yours?

| Nice idea to talk about. I would say for me, my most memorable area would be Zion Canyon in Fallout: New Vegas. It wasn't a specific area within the Honest Hearts expansion, but rather the atmosphere and the stories that were held within it. Specifically, I'm talking about the terminals that you find alongside the small stashes all throughout the canyon. They followed the story of survival of Randall Dean Clark. He survived the initial bombs and managed to make his way into Zion Canyon, where it was relatively safe from radiation as long as he stayed in the caves and didn't make too many trips outside. His story of survival and helping people without ever asking for anything in return was just awesome to me and the way that he ended up dying at the end of his notes was really sad to me, but also touching. He managed to hike himself up onto one of the upper cliff sides and pass away peacefully so that the people he was helping (now known as the sorrows tribe) didn't have to find out that their "Father in the Cave" was nothing more than an old man. It's kinda lame, but something about that story hit me right in the feels. So much so, that i even did a playthrough of New Vegas as Randall Dean Clark and tried to make the choices that he would have made if it were actually him. I even used the Survivalist's Rifle and his Desert Ranger armor the entire time. It was a really fun playthrough and one of the most memorable moments for me in any Fallout game _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |

| The Citadel will always be the most memorable and badass BoS base, even though I do like the Prwdwen. |

| @"Grimmex" Yeah I understand. I really enjoyed those terminals in the caves and the little stories you could read about him. I really enjoyed the part where a Vault Dweller named Sylvie Clark got stuck in his bear trap and instead of killing Sylvie he saved her and ended up having kids with her. To bad she and his son both died from a failed child birth.
@"Corvo" Personally I felt like it could of had more rooms/areas and had generally been more detailed. But the one we got was ok and I enjoyed the Citadel due to it being the Pentagon and also housing Liberty Prime. It was also one of the most if not the most secure location in Fallout 3 excluding and Enclave Bases like Raven Rock or the Enclave's Mobile Crawler base at Adams AFB found in Broken Steel. Though Rivet City might of actually been more secure then The Citadel in terms of fortifications and how they were built.
@"erictuong" Yeah the Pitt's atmosphere, looks, Creatures/NPC's, and back story were pretty cool though it would of been cool if you could do more with the city after the main story line was completed. Like expanding the controlled area of the city or having a really cool player home in the Haven Tower. Also those Trogs in the steel yard are so creepy if they sneak up on you and hit you out of no where. Man i jumped like crazy when they spooked me. |

| Nobody mentioned Arlington Cemetery from Fallout 3...
For me, this place IS FAllout incarnate... Creepy, depressing, symbolizing that War Never Changes but, if you look closely, there is still hope to be found ^^ ! I always have warm fuzzy feelings whenever I see those perfect flowers which have grown from the graves... It's a simple, but powerful image to me. _________________ I've come here to chew bubblegum and mod Fallout ! And I'm all out of bubblegum ! My mods : - Fallout New Vegas:

| Even if the gameplay or the story wasn't so great, I love all of Fallout 3 places. But one of my favorites is the Dunwich building. _________________ I am looking for AC Odysset armor and outfits assets to port to FNV, if you know where I can get them, PM/email me.

| @"FafnirEtherion" Yeah the row of graves just shows how no matter what war never changes. I also have never noticed the flowers growing from the graves in Arlington, really cool little detail. Going their at night would be very creepy with just the rows of graves in the darkness. I also found it really cool that the Chinese were able to setup up a sorts of command post for their operations at Mama Dolce's before the war and be almost completely undetected. Also the fact that such a large op was located in the U.S. Capital is kind of surprising.
@"Acies" Ah yes... I forgot all about this place. You are making me rethink my current decision as this place was all kinds of spooky for me especially when I was a little kid playing Fallout for the first time. Combine the ghouls, darkness, and flashbacks and you got one really cool but spooky place. At little off topic but Dunwich Borers in FO4 was a cool little reference to the Dunwich building in FO3 with the flashbacks, backstory, and even one of the lights switches turning off right in front of you. |

| @MrEggs0925 Another creepy place for me was the Vault 106. The hallucinations caught me off guard and scared me _________________ I am looking for AC Odysset armor and outfits assets to port to FNV, if you know where I can get them, PM/email me.

| @"Acies" Yeah same for me I was wondering where Amata came from the first time I saw them. Though my favorite Vault has to be Vault 108 with all the Gary's.

| Vault 11 in Fallout New Vegas for me is the quintessential "failed vault experiment". The build-up to the Vault is incredible. You enter just thinking, okay yeah yeah another vault, just rats and preying mantises? Easy. But then you find the holotape with the strange, cryptic recording, where people kill themselves at the entrance of the vault, hinting at the mistakes they made. Then you go deeper into the vault, and start seeing posters for "vote this person" and "vote this person" and you're like, okay, some kind of electoral system was happening. But then you slowly realise that people weren't trying to win. Through the archives you find and visual clues you begin to realise that these people wanted others to win, that to be elected Overseer was a death sentence.
Vault 11 is just so ingenious in its quiet and sinister execution. It feels so real, you can imagine people in this situation actually committing the acts described, perfectly exploring human behaviour in this scenario. It's upsetting and depressing, but incredibly fulfilling as you slowly piece together the mystery. Definitely one of my favourite and most memorable experiences ever playing Fallout. _________________ "It's 106 miles to Arroyo, we've got a full fusion cell, half a pack of RadAway, it's midnight, and I'm wearing a 50 year old Vault 13 jumpsuit. | @Visible Earth I don't know if you could really call it a failed experiment as the experiment was completed and the only real goal of this experiment was to gain data on what they would do and how they would react. After the experiment was completed via resisting the Vault Mainframe orders they were free to leave and do what they wanted with their life as the Vault no longer needed them. At least this is how I've understood it and don't know if this is completely right. But anyways for me it was also very interesting to investigate and explore Vault 11. I was at first unable to completely understand the story and was driven to find out the whole story. Though not one of my all time favorite locations it was a very interesting and intriguing location and definitely fun to explore the backstory and fate of the dwellers. |

| @FafnirEtherion You know, that is something that I never actually noticed. The things you miss when a location in a Fallout game seems bland from just taking a quick glance at it. I'll have to go back at some point and look at that because it's certainly got a powerful message behind it _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |

| The most memorable area for me is that one bridge thing by the citadel in fallout 3 that originally has raiders in it I used to spawn enemies in and sit from that bridge underpass and shoot them. |

| For me it would be the divide (I know cheesy right) but I mean it is proper despair and lunacy. People with their skin flayed off by the wind. Nuclear warheads spewn across the map. Deadly radiation, and the choice you get, is so remember-able. To cut the throat of bear and bull or let them go and all from one man/woman. You can either teach Ulysses his mistake or kill him. Just so amazing. |

| The Dunwhich Building. It was a nice little step into horror despite the fact that I had already seen ghouls. |

| @Acekiler you mean the Arlington Memorial bridge? The one where Liberty Prime crosses to make a push on the Enclave controlled Purifier? The only thing I really enjoyed about the bridge was that it looked really cool and was fun to play on when you make a push on the purifier with Liberty Prime just "eradicating" the Enclave and destroying their fortifications as if they were some sort of joke.
@hershal721 The Divide is also one of my favorite locations because of the really cool environment they made. Going from fighting in a underground Missile Silo to fighting deathclaws on a freeway it was really cool and awesome to play. As you said in your post I also loved that you could actually make a final stand with Ulysses instead of killing him. Another small thing I liked is how he comments on your allied factions and his criticisms towards them.
@AheagoSucc Acces said this one earlier and it was good mention. As I said earlier I really enjoyed the location with the flashbacks, environment, and ghouls just chasing and making random noises in the dark making it even more scary. |

| I'm surprised no one's said Oasis yet. The change in scenery was so fresh and unique. Gone be the destroyed buildings, cracked pavements and leafless trees and welcome.. well, greenery. There was something about it just being this tiny pocket of land where it seemed normal and full of life. Except for the crazies living within. _________________ "Give me back my frickin' legions, you mong!" - Absolutely Gaius Julius Caesar |

| If I can count all Vaults as one, then it would be Vaults and exploring them. I like the lore of Vaults and Vault experiments and some of them has different gimmicks, for example Vault 108 has the Gary army and Vault 106 has hallucinations. It's fun to imagine how the inhabitants used to live there after the bombs fell.
The other favourite is Operation Anchorage, it's one of the best DLC's in my opinion. _________________ Walking down an unknown road |
