Name's Joah, and it's a pleasure to be a part of this community.
About Me:
About to graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and yet I'm still playing games
.
Been a die hard fan of the Fallout franchise since Fallout 1 and still waiting for a mod called "Mutants Rising" to be released for the turn based series of Fallout.
I appreciate details a lot, no matter how minuscule they seem to be - they add up to accomplish a greater atmosphere. Especially in games. It's because of this
reason that I fell in love with Fallout 1 and 2, where the attention to detail through character and story development makes up for the lack of a fancy modern day
gaming engine. Compared to the games today, I felt like RPG games back then really revolved the game-play around the story, and not the other way around.
Playing a RPG game back in the days was like reading a book, a really interactive book where you're the main character. Of course, there are still several games
today where character and story development are as detailed as can be (Witcher 3 and New Vegas, etc), but nothing really brings back the good old nostalgia of
games like Planescape: Torment and Fallout 1 & 2.
Anyway, enough of me blubbering about. I'm just here to download mods that will add details to my New Vegas experience, and although I've never
actually have time to create mods - I can provide valuable feed backs to authors of mods so they can improve on what needs to be improved. Don't worry, I think
I have an idea of what the New Vegas engine is limited to, though several mods have caught me off guard as to what modders can do ... modders can redefine
the limits of a game. And with that, I hope I didn't bore you too much with text of words and I'm looking forward to provide feed backs for mods I've downloaded
on this site and been using for at least a week!
P.S.
Mods I've been recently pursuing and loved so far:
