| I want to make Fallout mod reviews, showcases and just playthroughs in general on my YouTube channel since it’s been something I’ve been thinking about doing for awhile. I have the amateur know how with the camera console commands and I have taken a tons of screenshots with this knowledge. In Fallout 4 I taken it further I have experimented with the “Precise Object Moving and Rotating” mod and with Dave’s poses. I have also tested the Nvidia recording software, and it has worked out fine. So I'm set on those fronts. So does anyone have any advice on what video editing software, audio and things like that? Tips regarding camera commands ingame? _________________ "I am not existing, nor am I lifeless." |

| I use Sony Vegas for my Video Editing and Photoshop for adding fancy text and stuff like that and making my YouTube thumbnails. As for recording, i use OBS - OPEN BROADCAST SOFTWARE, which fortunately is free to download. Here's some console commands i use when taking screenshots, maybe there's one or two you may not know of yet? Who knows? but here goes! - TFC - Toggle camera | Releases the camera from your character and allows you to fly around for some good camera angles.
- Sucsm 1 - Adjusts camera speed while TFC is active, the 1 being the amount of speed, so you can do things like sucsm 10 to make it even faster.
- TCAI - turns off ai combat, makes it so no one attacks each other.
- TAI - Disabled AI all-together, so no one moves ect.
- TM - Hides the User Interface.
- TCL - Turn off Collision, allows you to move through walls, ect.
- SGTM 1 - Changes game speed, good for making slow motion shots. The 1 being the amount of speed, so for example using sgtm 10 would make things go faster.

| I personally mostly used simply just windows movie maker for editing. I know it does lack some features but at least its free and really easy to use. Lightworks also has a free version and is pretty good but unfortunately the free version of that can only render at 720p as far as i know (might be wrong here since it's been a year since the last time i used it).
And i see that you have already tried NVIDIA's shadowplay which in my opinion is probably the best recording software available atm since it has pretty close to 0 performance impact. OBS is good aswell though. |
