| So for a few months I been using my wired Gamestop Xbox controller to play Fallout, and well it works fine, there is am issue thats been bugging me -.- The aimming on the controller feels really Grid-like compared to when I play Fallout on my Xbox. It is extremely tedious to line up a clean shot, it requires me to move side to side to get a correct placement. I looked online and couldnt find a clear cut answer. However I stumbled upon this site http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/pc-controller-support/alpha-gamepad-joystick/xbox-360-ps3-psx-etc/fallout-new-vegas It fixed the grid like aimming but remapped the controllers to a really stupid layout >.< So my question is, does anyone have a fix to the xbox controller being grid-like Thanks VGU! _________________ " Now go! | Seems like an okay controller. The reviews seem kinda average if I may say so check youtube and they may have reviews. Anyways Ill try out Xpadder today and report back _________________ " Now go! Let the Legend come back to life!" — Revolver Ocelot

| Do you mind me asking what other peripherals you have plugged into your computer? Mouse, keyboard, headset, a flight stick perhaps? You've probably already tried this, but try unplugging all your peripherals except for the 360 gamepad. Some PC peripherals interfere with gamepads. For instance, whenever my flight stick is plugged in, my gamepad goes haywire.
While searching the net for this problem I found a post on Yahoo Answers about someone with a similar issue. I just googled "problems with 360 gamepad new vegas," and it was a few links down. Titled "Fallout: New Vegas PC xbox360 controller problem...?"
It seems to suggest to me that the issues is being caused by a software/driver incompatibility; unless it works just fine with other games on your PC. If that's the case then I'm stumped.
Edit: Oh and one question to ask is "what has changed on your computer recently." Seeing as it worked just fine a few months ago, you must have installed something recently that's causing the issue. |

| Usually have my headphones or mouse plugged in as well, but even with everyone thing unplugged minus the gamepad its very stiff. I seen other users with this problem as well but still no solid fix >.< And yeah my other games run smooth like TF2 but its crazy how the pinaccle game profile fixes the issue. I wonder If I can make a custom controller layout with that program Anyways thanks for the input man _________________ " Now go! Let the Legend come back to life!" — Revolver Ocelot
