About a week ago I got back from a trip in the Bahamas, which reminded me of my vacation to Las Vegas two years ago. While there I made sure to take as many photos as I can and compare them in game with Fallout New Vegas!

Here are just some I was able to get, sometimes I forgot to take photos because I was so busy D:


Goodsprings! Yes I went there, it is a real place. I actually went on a Ghost Hunting tour and it was really great!

So my question for you guys is; which area of the game compares best to it's real life counterpart in your opinion? I'd also love to see if anyone else has visited Fallout locations in real life, and any pictures they have! D.C., Vegas, Boston, or DLC locations!

I've driven through Primm and been near the perimeter of Nellis, can't find the pictues though.
Nellis is only a 7-10 minute drive from where I am, and Primm is a little less than an hour away so I may visit again and take some pictures.

These are some awesome comparison shots.

When i was driving to Cali from Denver i had to make a pitstop in Primm it looks mostly the same just with a bit more traffic lights and extra stores but man did they do a good job.! Ive heard about the saloon and when i was younger i went to hoover dam, now that looks epic in real life!!

And to those who mentioned Primm, we drove through it on the way back from the ghost tour in Goodsprings, but truth be told I was catchin' up on some zzzZZZs so I could walk the strip later at night hahah

I love these, being able to compare the real-life shots to the In-game shots was really sweet. Great shots.

the realism has me wondering why don't I go their if I only live 5 hours away from Las Vegas.

Yeah I've got a ton of photos, I can send some of the better ones. But I'll have to wait before showing comparison shots in game, my character has not made it to the Strip and I wouldn't want to ruin this game by cheating yet hahah

Oh trust me, it was an incredibly surreal experience taking photos of locations that I have never physically been to before, but I have walked all over hundreds of times in a video game! That trip was probably my favorite vacation in a long time.

Sadly I didn't get that good of ones, but check that group I posted up above, Ceaser's Palace is in a few of them but not the focus

They really need to fix their textures, they really seem out of place. It's not immersive enough.

Those are some nice photo's would be cool to be able to visit them. So where's Victor?

Woah, what ENB are you using, I want realistic texture and lighting like that.

But seriously though, I do wished I could go and experience New Vegas Las Vegas myself and take my own pictures.

@Tactical DropBear Pretty fucking hot tbh! I do love it though. It depends on if you prefer hot weather or cold weather. Good thing is that it is not Humid!
