| I have to say sometimes when I'm not paying full attention they can make me jump. Like Deadspace 1 with the necromorphs for the first time. Has a random ghoul ever made you jump, scared and or, freaked out?
Other times they don't really make me jump tho only if I'm caught off guard. Like a few mins ago in Jamaica plains I thought I cleared them all out. Then I went to build mode the door of the house opened. I thought it was auto opening but nope it was a ghoul I heard the growl and then whack I'm hit. I'm like crap where the hello did that thing come from? |

| When I was a lot younger, I used to be afraid of the ghouls in Fallout 3 throughout the metro stations. These days they aren't even close to being scary. _________________ "You know what, Trigger? Why don't you lead and I'll follow." |

| I remember those days in fo3 had a mod that added more types and a chance to resurrect. I had seen some headless, armless and, legless. |

| They did freaked me out when it was my very first time playing Fallout 3. I was like what the heck is that. |

| It's complicated. I'm not afraid at all of feral ghouls or mind looking at normal ghouls but when I loot a normal one they're disgusting clothless. |

| Fo3 ghouls could be creepy if you're not paying attention and you're on the subway(which is pretty fucking creepy in the first place). |

| Your poll is a little odd, but no I don't find them scary- at all. I actually found them a bit fun, I use to try and sneak up to that observation post every playthrough to get me a pair of those sweet authority glasses, the "don't get killed by the reaver" game. _________________ |

| They have never been scary to me. Even when I was younger watching Fallout 3 videos, they never really phased me. Honestly, Feral Ghouls are some of my favorite enemies to fight. In FO3 and FNV, They're not that intimidating really(well, except for the grenade throwing ghouls, fucking bastards). They will just run up on and hit as hard as they can. However, when they're in groups in an interior area, that's when I start worrying a bit. Their damage will multiply when they're hitting you all at once and you don't have anywhere to run. In Fallout 4, Bethesda really improved them as enemies with the fact that you can take off most of their limbs to weaken them in combat like it's Killing Floor. They also give you radiation damage when they hit you, and radiation damage IMO is more dangerous in FO4 than how it was in FO3 and FNV for the sole fact that it can drain your health slowly. The only way to take of it is to use Radaway and Rad-x. Anyways, back on topic. No, Ghouls do not scare me. I honestly think that they're some of the most interesting creatures gaming history. The whole science behind them is very interesting. Radscorpions though? That's another story. _________________ Flickr | STEAM | NEXUS <--- Where you can connect with me |

| Definitely scared of feral ghouls. I mean, you can blow their legs off and they still want to eat you. If ghouls actually existed, they would be terrifying. Not to mention that we have no idea what keeps ghouls from going feral, meaning that your best friend could turn feral and attack you. That's horrifying. _________________ Ummmmmm........ just wanted to say... |

| The Only time I ever felt a little bit on edge with Ghouls was while playing that Inheritance mod
SPOILER Spoilers for those who Havent played the mod
Normally in DLCs vanilla and most mods Ghouls were never how to say That many to Fight..... Sure some were stronger and that Place with the radiation bomb *still hasent finished it* *still not enough radaway*
I never flinched much even thoe the ones in FO2 and FO1 did kinda scare me more but in the mod thoe , it was like a zombie hell one after another they keept coming and my ass was almost out of ammo it was really intresting hate to admit really wish I had invested in some melee weapons at that time but luckly my game crashed due to 402 mods installed and I was able to restock I mean I had a very terrible vision into the future and the zombies were munching on my face but in fear of that being reality I went back with ma pal Boony and took 2 miniguns with alot of ammo

| Unless it's a Ghoul Reaver that comes out of nowhere when I'm at a low level, then no. Ghouls have never freaked me out as I've always been a fan of zombie type creatures and horror since a young age. In fact, I usually look forward to fighting with a group of Feral Ghouls. In my opinion, they're one of the most entertaining enemies in the game. Those Ghoul Reavers however... |

| In fallout 3/NV, not really. One thing fallout 4 did right was the enemies, the ghouls in that game are freaky in the way they move, and the clickerfied ghouls mod makes them sound horrifying. I was using a ghoul spawn mod and pilgrim, and I genuinely squealed in downtown boston when they started pouring in. _________________ |

| Their a little spooky but nothing a 7.62×51mm NATO, six-barrel rotary, high rate of fire machine gun with a rate of fire of 2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute or a 50 BMG (or .416 Barret),Barrett M82 Anti Material Rifle can't fix. _________________ |

| With true storms when there's a rad storm you can have a chance of ghouls spawning all types. I was playing and had a random ghoul come out of nowhere. So I thought I'd see what other players here think of ghouls. |

| The Ghouls themselves don't freak me out, but when I can hear them screaming but don't know where they are it makes me uneasy _________________ - My YouTube - |

| They're an annoyance more then anything. I fear rad scorpions far more then ghouls. I did see the option for them to spawn in True Storms but passed because a whole pack of dodging ghouls spawning out of nowhere is redoncoulous |

| I remember this place full of ghouls in FO3 that scarred me for life. The moment i saw that ghouls in FO4 could run, jump and dodge like an anime protagonist i was like "fuck this man" and downloaded a mod that made them act like normal zombies. It made survival actually enjoyable. |

| Yes they did, the first time I came across them I had no idea what they were and I didn't expect them either, so I jumped out of my seat. Otherwise the only time they scare me now is when they jump scare me when I'm focused on looting. _________________ "I am not existing, nor am I lifeless." |

| In FO3 and FNV, nope. Im not scared of some creature that looks like its from Evil Dead. In FO4, fucking hell man scared the shit out of me, specially in the parking lot at Lexington. It was one big underground parking lot with a fuckton of ghouls that will suddenly run at you at around 90 km/s then smack your face. |

| I find this to be a very intriguing question. The ghouls in FO4 don't creep me out, and honestly look kinda plastic to me. Ghouls in the previous games were so much more disturbing. I remember the very first time I saw a ghoul in FO3. Once I arrived in Megaton, I was awe struck with the beauty and the rustic feel I got from the city. Continuing the the main quest, I waltzed right into Moriarty's saloon to look for answers. That's when I saw him. Gobb. Man did I jump out of my skin. His looks scared me to the point I pulled out my 10mm pistol and shot him. I will say that was not the best decision I ever made but it left a lasting impression on me. Since then, I've realized the plight and struggles these individuals had to endure. They never asked for their skin to fall off, or for them to outlive their loved ones. Ghouls are definitely one of the tragic characters within the Fallout universe. _________________ "Time and tide waits for no man" - Geoffrey Chaucer
