So a while ago I heard some rumors that Obsidian were developing a game following the release of Fallout 4. Kinda like with New Vegas after Fallout 3. I got kinda excited as Fallout 4 was a bigger disappointment to me than I am to my parents. I heard something about it may being set in the Boneyard and what not. As I said, these rumors were from a while ago though. There may have been developments since, but I haven't really caught on. Does anybody have some updates on this? Could it actually be real? What do you guys want for the next Fallout game?

I remember seeing an interview with some of the NV devs like JE Sawyer or Chris Avellone stating that Obsidian is not gonna be making anoter fallout game, however, some other devs might make it. Obsidian, unfortunately, is not really doing too well financially speaking. They don't have the large budgets to spend on game on the scale of NV like they did in 2009-2010, add in most the devs of NV don't even work at Obsidian anymore. However I have high hopes for the next game since Avellone and many devs really do wanna work on a fallout game. I'll find the source when I can later to confirm it.

Kinda sad TBH. I like Beth's Fallouts but they lack the major RPG aspects that makes up the entire genre. I was too hoping for another Obsidian Fallout, but it's unlikely from all I've heard.
