| Are you exporting with vertex colors option?
Whenever I de-select it these gaps come about

| are there missing vertex or just fliped faces? You can try this in nifskope - spells - batch - make all skin partitoins. If that doesnt work then go to 3ds max again and before you hit the export button make sure to set the vertry weld to 0.01 _________________ |

| Your export settings look right, but I would refer to the wiki on this:
http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Fallout_4._Part_4
3DS Max has a low precision export script. Both the official Bethesda one, and the community release. The higher the poly count of the model, the more distortion you'll see. I would try exporting it as an obj, and importing it into OS. Surprisingly that is the only program that has a full precision option. Hopefully there are Blender scripts in the future. =/ _________________ “We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.” - Alan Turning

| I had gaps when I made my first armor, it could be that those vertex are not weighted to any bone, but you can still put that armor in game and see it _________________ |

| @beardofsocratesI read about the polygon problem too but fortunately it works exporting first as an object and then do the rest in OS. Thank you! Could not figure it out without you guys help! @Cruz011 Tried this way too but didn't work unfortunately it's not a settings thing it's because the model has a higher polygon count than what we can export but it worked with the beardofsocrates workaround. Thank you for your help too! Thank you everyone for helping me out and giving a look into this! This community is awesome! |
