Hello everyone, pleasure to meet you.


I go by Artigo, friends call me tigo, and am a 25 year old software engineer (Developer Operations if you're curious). Lifelong gamer and amateur personal modder. I've always appreciated the ability to customize my gaming experience which is-more than likely-the reason I ended up in software as a career.

Always had a passion for RPGs since I played Morrowind on the original Xbox and then my first MMO (Star War Galaxies, anyone?) when I went full on into PC gaming. Eventually, got into FPS as well and spent A LOT of time playing MW2 and got way too good at it (3.0+/kd 7th prestige).

I recall distinctly going back to do a Fallout 3 play through sometime in '09 and stumbled upon some screenshots of MW2 armor/skins and got way too excited at using the Shadow Company gear in Fo3 playing as a merc operator. Turned out the mods were in the private section of a certain underground modding community. I was determined to earn the right to use them and eventually committed to the community as a whole after finding some friends who I'd game with for years to come.

Managed to find a few old screen shots on my photobucket (remember when that was a thing?) that I haven't used in years





Another great mod they was a super high res ACR that blew my mind because 1)It's my favorite rifle from any game 2) it had a foregrip animation that I didn't know was possible to implement and was unique to anything else in FO at the time.

VERY FIRST thing that I did was try to make it into the MW2 ACR so I learned to pull sounds from the game and replaced its sound file with my newly copied one from MW2.

Then, I went on to learn to do custom skins so I could recreate the Autumn camo that I also thought was cool.

Definitely the most tacticool load out right there.



Anyway, I've finally got some time to play games once again and would actually like to finish FO4. Looking forward to meeting yall

Welcome! I played on Corbantis in the Beta and and after it closed down played on Starsider.. An entire uninterrupted year of my life was dedicated to that game. Until EMU. I mostly lost interest after that.

Awesome! I played on Kettemoor from pre-cu all the way through the cu. Played a bunch on the emu as well. My brother was actually one of the original devs that reverse engineered core 1 for the emu.

Quite an introduction, been awhile since we had such a big one :p
