| Even though FO4 is so recent, I just can't remember any of its vaults. Even after all these years, I can still remember vault 22 and 34, so NV gets my vote. _________________ |

| @Dreceratops Thats because it barely had any and 2 of them were nothing but gunner camps _________________ "Mine" |

| @gibson45 I have to agree with you that NV had the best vaults, everyone of them was unique and interesting but they also had a very cool backstory about the experiments that went on inside them. |

| My favorite Fallout vault would be the horrific yet funny vault 11. Though the vault lacked really any great enemies or loot, I found that the back story was well worth the visit. So, just off of that vault alone my vote goes to New Vegas. _________________ Yours sincerely, GumShoe

| @gibons45 I agree they were so well done and had there own separate story pretty much that made you want to read each terminal explore and find out what happen and the stories in NV were very well told. @Dreceratops Same...that's my biggest complaint about the vaults in Fallout 4 they arent memorable...at all the only one most remember is vault 111....well because you start there and even that i think could have done a bit better and made for a stronger opening. and yeah what gibson said they were pretty much just raider and gunner camps i cant even remember the vault numbers or their stories. _________________ - I Wish.... to Fly to a Place So Far Away:

| I liked Fallout 3's Vault 87 the most because it had an interesting backstory in my opinion. I liked how it was a vault for government test subjects being made for the war and was the only one containing a G.E.C.K which is a powerful piece of technology. _________________ |

| I agree that New Vegas had the best Vaults, but let's not forget that 95 was pretty messed up. It's advertised as a rehabilitation center for chem addiction, and it was very successful. A Vault-Tec agent revealed a sizable stash of chems, sending the vault into chaos. _________________ |

| I loved almost all the vaults in New Vegas! They were all so diverse and interesting. But my favorite from all the fallout games would be a mix between Vault 108, Vault 81, or Vault 34. The reason is I feel like Vault 81 was just so cool cause it was still a active community. I love Vault 34 just because I absolutely love the boomers and their backstory. And I really love Vault 108 because of how freakin hilarious Gary is. _________________ |

| @gibons45 Me too...it was surprising for a young me It was unnerving and every time i play it now i still say all you had to do is say no....that's all. @SuperChunkChief Yeah I did like 87 it was Fallout 3s and the east coast answer to mariposa from Fallout 1 and 2 @Overdone That is true the issue with that is there were drugs in there that should have not existed pre war. Bethesda's foolish oversight over all the vault was one of the better ones. _________________ - I Wish.... to Fly to a Place So Far Away:

| New Vegas had some great vaults, 11, 22, and 34 especially had some great lore behind it. They outdid the other games in terms of the experiments and it was also interesting to see Vault 21 converted to a hotel.
Vault 11 showed just how fucked up Vault-Tec was (IT WAS JUST A PRANK BRO). 22 was an interesting view on how a group of scientists and generally intelligent people can go crazy along with the spore carriers (and a few of them being small which implied children turned too). 34 was a radioactive nightmare with one of the best rewards in the game if you could fend off hoards of feral ghouls with high rads, a whole armory of powerful weapons. Even then, the other vaults like 3 and 19 still did a good job presenting how vault life was, but I felt had some wasted potential, especially with Vault 19 segregating their dwellers into red and blue sectors.
Fallout 3 did a pretty decent job but I felt a few experiments felt too edgy and serving no purpose, or made no sense at all, like Vault 92 trying to use white noise to create super soldiers or vault 106 with the hallucinogenic drugs. Vault 87 was easily the most interesting and creepy vault in the entire game due to the entrance being the most radioactive part of the entire map and the large amounts of super mutants and other FEV created abominations.
Fallout 4, past 111 and 81, all the other vaults I felt fell pretty flat in terms of the lore and creepiness. 111 just simply for the fact that you started off there and 81 for the fact it was still inhabited and you could get involved in trade. _________________ - PC SPECS:

| Fallout New Vegas' Vault 22...that place was creep city. Despite having clearly read 'the plants kill' on the sign outside, I figured it was going to be like spore plants that were just annoying with some variances...and maybe some molerats and ghouls...
Not humanoid creatures that lie in wait for you...there were a couple of flailing moments...probably didn't help that I was playing at night and had finished some horror movies. >.>;
And Vault 11, the experiment (having to sacrifice one person every year) was just morbid and dark...I liked it (especially the ending). :> _________________ Currently Away tending to family medical needs. I enjoy repeating numbers, specifically 11. I also enjoy numbers appearing in a sequence such as in Month/Day/Year. IE: 02/04/06 and so on. This makes November Eleventh, Two Thousand Eleven my favorite day to date when written short as 11/11/11. Despite my near unhealthy obsession with numbers...I loathed Math in my school years.

| I'd have to say Fallout 3. A lot of the vaults in that game had a major mystery/creep factor to them, especially Vault 87.
I haven't really played through the first two, but I feel like those games in general had the best atmosphere |

| I would have to say FNV. They were the most interesting vaults in my opinion. 11 showed how much Vault Tec did not care for human life at all, 3 has a very sad backstory when you read up about it, and Vault 22 is the most unique Vault with all it's foliage. Fallout 3, however, had the most creepiest vaults. All the vaults just oozed creepy. Bethesda really outdid the atmosphere for the vaults in Fallout 3. When I was at the entrance of vault 106, I honestly chickened out. That vault has got to be the CREEPIEST vault in Fallout 3. _________________ Flickr | STEAM | NEXUS <--- Where you can connect with me |
