| 4.5 for sure. Using FO4's shooting and settlements as a base could lead to a lot of great things if Obsidian is behind it. And half of the DLC content won't be settlement stuff. I probably won't be excited for FO5 or TESVI until I know for certain they're doing away with elements that people didn't like about FO4. _________________ |

Yeah me too and obsidian knows how to write a better open ended story then bethesda does thats for sure. I hope it is over in seatle or something on the west coast. As far as the DLC they will blow us away that much i know that. What was your least favorite thing from Fo4? _________________ - I Wish.... to Fly to a Place So Far Away:

| I think the easiest thing to pick on is the voiced protagonist. There are a bunch of related issues and some of them are probably even more annoying to me, but they're gonna require multiple pages and replaying FO3 and NV to make sure I'm not misremembering anything.
The voiced protag means that every male character I make, no matter what backstory I give them, no matter how they look or what race they are, all sound the same, and at least with no voice you can at least role play. And while I can't speak for the female voice yet, they just chose the most boring guy for the male voice. If Bethesda really wants to continue down this path, and I really hope they got the message and don't, at the very least they need to have voice pitching or multiple voice actors. Some people might say "multiple voice actors means having to spend more money," and I'd agree and say "yeah, so they should get rid of the voice altogether and spend it elsewhere."
And to tie this back in to the original topic, I think Obsidian is smart/receptive enough to not include a voiced protagonist. We knew the courier was some badass with a past, but that was it. If my character woke up and spoke to Doc Mitchell in such a boring voice, I think I would've enjoyed NV much less. _________________ |

| @"gibons45" if they dont...they would be doing the fans and the series a huge disservice so far the best fallout games made are not the ones made my bethesda and they own the IP. Thats bloody sad bruv.
@"Dreceratops" In major a agreeanece with you here mate. Ya know the funny thing is I embraced the Idea at first I thought it would add to the narrative. But all it it did was narrow the choice made and, all the role playing was absent you were always the same woman or man each time. I like brain and courtney and I think they did great jobs. But....brian he sounds to much like a goodie to shoes i cant ever choose an evil path and feel like an evil badass...because of how he sounds.
Now as far as the backstory goes the only Fallout games without seem to be Fallout 1 2 tactics and new vegas...oh whats that? all the games not developed by Beth...Look I love bethesda i do i wanna maybe work there one day but....I agree i think they should get rid of it all together it will never work again in this style of game I think they were going for a mass effect feel but with way less options and depth.
And that my friend why the courier is the best FO protagonist! _________________ - I Wish.... to Fly to a Place So Far Away:

| I didn't even know Fallout 4.5 was even an option. But if it is then easily 4.5 or whatever it's gonna be called. Especially if Obsidian is behind it. They did a glorious job on New Vegas and I firmly believe they have the knowledge and potential to expand on Fallout 4.
However if there is gonna be no Fallout 4.5 or Fallout title before FO5, then I would have to say...Fallout 5. XD
Don't get me wrong. I love the Elder Scrolls games and I'm stoked for the next one! Especially with Todd Howard confirming it's in development. However....I hate to say it, but honestly I think the Fallout series is a little more fascinating and more fun to play. So, I'm excited for the next Fallout game in general. Whether it be Bethesda or Obsidian!
....But seriously, I hope they bring Obsidian back for another Fallout game. |

| so...hoping for a stable game where game patches don't create a need for additional patching? Just a nice smooth stable game as a foundation for well rounded, fun, mods that can be easily bolted on can thrive and create a plethora of options for multiple playthroughs?
fine...I'm looking forward to FO4 version 1.7.9
I made the version number up...because we all know beth still has work to do. _________________ |

I think so to...I havent been able to go back to skyrim since it was released now that I can use mods...I still dont feel like going back but ive been going back to fallout since it was realsed its just something about its world, lore characters connections to one another etc that make me love the series and cant wait for another one..but god reasons as any to look forward to another obsidian game then any. @OSOK I couldnt agree more if the next game that comes out doesn't need patches and fan patches to solve all the issues it would be a miracle. I pray to Talos it happens...(we can dream). _________________ - I Wish.... to Fly to a Place So Far Away:

| Fallout 4.5 by Obsidian because FO4 just isn't enough. And actually looking forward to Days Gone, although it's not a Beth game. _________________ Dream game: Shenmue - Harvest Moon - Fallout hybrid |

| Considering Fallout 4 was released just last year, I don't even want to think about the next game in the series. Though, if Bethesda handed the next game to Obsidian, I'm sure we can expect the next Fallout game in the next couple years.
I'd much rather see Elder Scrolls VI, wherever that might end up being. Skyrim left me wanting more from the Elder Scrolls universe. I hope Bethesda returns to the voiceless protagonist who is for some reason a prisoner at the beginning of the game and ends up being the savior of the world. _________________ |

| Can't wait for the One Tamriel next month for ESO, that is gonna make it like ES VI in a way. So that'll probably satisfy my need for another sequel for awhile.
But idk for Fallout, tbh I don't really care for the Fallouts until the creation kit and mods come out. |

| Cyberpunk 2077, CD PRojekt Red's next game.
Bethesda's next game, which will NOT be TES VI, but a new IP which excites me.
Mass Effect: Andromeda
That's it as far as games go. As for movies I'm looking forward to Rogue One, and eventually Episode VIII. _________________ "Sheogorath is already inside each of us. You have already lost." |

| Well, if we're going to move on from the topic of just Fallout/Bethesda titles, then I'm looking forward to Nier Automata, Cyberpuunk 2077 which is probably at least a year out, the Dark Souls III DLCs, and whatever From Software is developing next. _________________ |

bruv. yeah but from the way people in Bethesda have talked about Obsidian i don't think they like them very much...i honestly think they might be jealous of how highly praised New Vegas is comparison to 4. _________________ "Mine" |

| NHL 17, that's literally the only game I want right now. I know it already came out but I'm low on cash right now so it's not like I can go out and spend $60 on a new game. I played the beta and it was really fun, the customization is great but the gameplay like always and like every EA Sports game is utter trash. _________________ Baby it's your world, ain't it? |
