There is a big, BIG mod coming out for Fallout 4. It is called Fallout: Lonestar. All I have to say is that I am excited. With The Frontier and Project Brazil being close to completion, Fallout: Lonestar will be awesome to play. Your thoughts?

It does seem interesting although it's hard to comment about it as it doesn't seem far enough along the production line to really get hyped.

Needless to say it looks epic and would be great to play after the cold climates of the frontier
Also Thank you to Athanasius for making my wonderful signature picture.

Always for more big story mods, looks like something to keep a eye on. Probably will be a long time to get it finished. Hopefully they will stick with it and not let it die like so many great mod ideas.

@Hoppyhead Yeah I hope so too mods like these die too quickly sometimes
I don't this ever going to be released. It started as a New Vegas mod and when Fallout 4 was released and they decided to basically start all over and make it for Fallout 4.
On their website they have no screenshots of the mod for either NV or 4. It just seems kinda of odd to me.

I have a feeling this project won't go anywhere. We only have 1 model and a bunch of concept art but no gameplay. This seems to happen to a lot of Fallout related projects that try creating new worlds.

@cordelionreaver I think that's because they found out that FO4's engine is much more stable and easier to use than FNV's. So they brought all their assets over to the FO4 engine and continued working.

Haven't been up to date on it, but we'll probably need to wait for some more tools to come out before this can be fully realized. It'll take some time for sure.
But it's good to see another Texas-based FO4 project out there. Much as some people want to believe 4 won't live up to NV, huehue.
They said they were going to make to make it for Fallout 4 before it even came out. So they haven't seen used Fallout 4's GECK or even played the game at that point.

It looks interesting already and hopefully it will actually finishes. But yeah as it's said a lot of great projects get started but mostly all die down. Same happened with Skyrim (sure not same game but yeah) A lot of grand projects just died down or disappear from the radar.
The most interesting for me in this mod has to be the Van Buren Prison. A massive security prison operated by robot's that reaches down many floor's below the surface? Count me exited.
